STRONGEST One-Punch Man Discussion Thread!

All of you guys here hating on the shonen series. And then there’s me sitting here alone liking these very things you guys are ******** on. Seriously am I the only one who likes pretty much everything I watch? Like most shonens are repetitive or cliche that’s true but that’s part of the fun. Cause I’ll be honest most series have been trying to break the trend so often that you don’t often see a fun normal cliche series. Like 6/10 series are still a fun series.

I try to enjoy stuff I read or watch but it's impossible now for me. I try to not overlook the manga but ****, it's so generic. I tried Kaiju N°8 and holy ****, the first two pages is literally what 30 years of the past shounen have done. Mf have a motivation of becoming a higher tier officer (Yo Naruto) and join a friend there (yo every-single-rival) while he turns into the thing he tries to destroy (yo AoT and TG while not being shounens) and then have a poor motivation writen with the MC screaming on a spread page.

Also, let's just remember, nobody here is saying anything as if it's objective. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

For example, I really like Gunbuster (minus the strange nudity), but someone here might think it's the worst thing they've ever seen.
 
It's not like we are doing or discussing anything important, I'm just waiting for the calc so I can say it's an outlier and shouldnt be used because of the lack of more MFTL feats.
 
I do think it should be okay to sometimes talk about some other things besides OPM, as long as it doesnt get too derailed
 
Since it's explicitly stated they were moving faster, how does Flashy Flash factor in?
 
Don’t think Flashy Flash can scale in speed. AP and durability probably since Flashy Flash was able to somewhat stun Platinum Sperm and make him use a defensive technique on top of him tanking all those attacks from Platinum Sperm and Garou. But speed downscale probably won’t happen as they clearly sped up once he went down.

I think you mistaken something. You don't have the authority here to tell people what topics they can talk about or not. Just because we're not saying good things about your favorite series doesnt mean you can just tell us to silence and we'll listen
