The encounter is canon but the meteor feat is specifically pointed out by Murata to have been a misunderstanding from the anime team of ONE's instructions.
ONE told them that Tatsumaki would drop a giant boulder on the Ancient King and it would remind him of the meteor that wiped out his kind but they somehow understood that as Tatsumaki throwing an actual meteor from outer space at him.

You know, since Ancient King witnessed the meteor and had flashbacks to it, he should have been in close proximity to it. I imagine that it would yield great results if we had anything tangible to calculate it and it would scale to nearly all demons.

Not sure, could be Metal Knight with his robot army (wich would be great for causing worldwide war, but idk if god can affect his robot army or a pure intellect type character), could be Genos since he is blinded by revenge atm, could be Drive Knight since he's instigating the fight between Genos and MK.
Hell, it could even be Blue considering he seems like Saitama's counterpart in uniting Neo Heroes and HA and him being taken over would result in all out war between heroes. (+ the bonus points for god taking ober Blast's son while he was away)
