Strife of the Reborn (RP Thread)

Up until this point Izanagi had still been floating above Beijing, overseeing the Equal Lives Group's work from above the clouds.

Alright, the fight should be over about now.

For a moment all of China becomes red as the Thorn manifests behind Izanagi and space is split. From the resulting rupture emerge two immense, arching trunks that intertwine in a helix-shape. Its branches extend across the heavens, being visible from every point on earth. The citizens of Beijing look up in awe as their city now finds itself located at the foot of a shining tree that dwarves mountains.
And with this tree comes an otherworldly wind that sweeps across the Physical World. For this tree pierces through both the Astral World and the Physical World and merges them. With the merging of these two planes of existence come great changes to the world, as the physical environments begins to change and astral creatures start roaming the lands. All of sudden humanity is no longer at the top of the food chain.

It is not long after this spectacle takes place that all across the world Xiuying appears on screens, whether he has to hijack Kiara's stream for that or not.

"For everyone watching: I deliver my most important message so far. The world in its totality has been changed. Mystical creatures of great power now roam every part of this planet and they endanger the entirety of humanity. I foresaw and this and tried to prevent it, but I failed... However! I have created a safe haven for all of humanity in Beijing, at the foot of the World Tree. The Kusanagis departed hell when the fight ended, seemingly disappointed somewhat.

A Kusanagi goes to inspect the tree as this is being said, and look for the person making the declaration.

One is watching the Layla situation go down as well.

All the others are too distracted for now, except the one that was with Izanagi before.

The Lailah that was in hell simply dissipates after all is said and done, giving a thumbs up to Kiara beforehand.

Kon looks up at the sky eclipsing branches.

"...Huh."

Just then he suddenly jolts up, having received a message.

"S-seriously!? I..." He sighs, before contacting everyone telepathically.

@Everyone

"Everyone. This is Kon. The next event has arrived. It's one you'll have to complete in order to receive greater powers. Your objective is... Stop Izanagi."

Kusanagi telepathically contacts everyone she can

"Do not charge blindly into this, there may yet be a resolution that does not involve death. Consider this."

"Well shit, you don't have to tell me twice!" Kiara tosses her phone into her barrier and flies towards the massive ******* tree that just showed up.

What are you so hesitant about? We have our mission and this is how we get stronger! Kiara answers Kusanagi's contact.

He is the only remaining thing of my original world. He is doing this on purpose to unite people against him, I believe. I do not wish for him to die. Stopping someone does not mean killing them.
 
Llwn's expression, one of outward disinterest belying a calculating gaze, doesn't change at this revelation, unraveling the sword into as much untainted Psyche as possible before instantaneously appearing behind Layla.

Some information has made itself clear. Surprise, or at least surprising, attacks are necessary, otherwise it won't harm the woman's actual body. Secondly, either she can see Llwn regardless of his efforts or is predicting him through some means. Dealing with the latter with a thrown-together set of footwork, based on his information about Lailah's brain, to break up his image and movements even more combined with rapid varying-ranged teleportation as well as completely throwing off his body's mechanisms, blood flowing, bones bending, and muscles stretching and contorting without any clear relation to his actual movements or outside stimuli, as well as him suppressing his conscious thought processes and focusing purely on instinctual movements to deal with potential mind-reading.

All of this, combined with his natural skills for making the absolute most of what force he has, creates an illusory speed difference, on top of the one already created by his the unknowability of his movements and the actual increases in speed he appears to be gaining from various sources, as he goes for an attack. Outputting a rending wave of force from himself targeted at center-mass, he immediately teleports perpendicular from the force, relative to the woman or wherever she may have evaded the attack to, waves of blades erupt from various points on Llwn and around the woman, all supernaturally sharpened and comedically toxic, drenched in the same energies as his other attacks.

Immediately following this, and anticipating more evasion maneuvers from the woman, eleven more sets of arms form out of Psyche on Llwn's shoulders, each one, including his own, now holding a massive, ornate weapon, and each limb disappears: not from some illusion as before, but from sheer speed as each and every one unleashes twenty-four unique attacks in unison from multiple different directions around the woman.

For a brief instant during all of this, consciousness is restarted to respond to the telepathic, merely responding that he is busy with an extremely uncharacteristic tone.

"I see, well you can do that then. However, if his goal is to unite the people against him, and be taken out, why would you go against his wishes, as one from his world? If his goal is as you say, wouldn't trying to protect him be going against his wishes? Not to say I entirely disagree with a non murder approach however, but still."

Lailah then projects a being made purely of her will to the tree, traveling there without a body, to observe what was going on

Kusanagi finds Xiuying at the foot of the tree, smoking from a pipe and looking at the tree. He slowly turns towards her.

"I heard you."

The tree seems to be under protection of Dark Matter, although this would be impossible to find out for any normal person.

Kiara finds it impossible to pinpoint Izanagi's location or actions, but something seems to be going on at the foot of the tree.

She asked, seeming genuinely shaken for once in her life.

Were it not for the void that Kusanagi is, it would be possible to tell that the blade that one held in her hands was special. It was nothing like any she had wielded before.
 
Respecting the wishes of both Layla and Llwn, i stay out of the fight, watching it closely. This should be entertaining.

To deal with the current challenge given to us, i transform my shadow into a form closely resembling myself, although it is still a shadow, and thus still incorporeal. I can deal with this myself once this fight ends.

Appearing beneath the large tree from it's shadows, the Shadow tries to rewrite it's spatio-temporal position to be inside the Tree.

Llwn was practically impossible to track, but the woman's natural speed advantage made locating him, if only for brief moments at a time, more than possible. It was because of this she was able to counter many of his attacks. Black plasma-like energy flew from Layla's position at a rate which quickly filled the sky where they battled. Some moved fast, some moved slow, some served a function as stationary mines, exploding when Llwn was in close proximity, and some followed Llwn with a mind of their own or intercepted his attacks.

The air had become thick and difficult to breath in. Llwn could feel himself being assaulted from every angle with powers of ill intent, every moment becoming more difficult to bear.

Finding the multi-arm multi-sword attack from every direction comparatively difficult to avoid, Layla surrounded herself with a wall of concentrated dark energy, which would expand as a form of retaliation.

Kon shakes his head.

"If I'm being honest... I'm as clueless as you are. I don't know what your friend did or why he needs to be stopped, but... this seems to be exactly the outcome he wanted."
 
Feeling the great change in the world, and also hearing the message, I exclaim in joy, as I was in the middle of rampaging across the country.

“Yeehaw! Now Finally We have some exciting thing going on! Come on boy!”

I then directly open a big portal toward the tree with the key, and lead the massive rampage, buffed with great strength, toward the portal, and began attacking the tree.

While the relative lack of actual damage dealt by all of that, even the ending barrage of over five hundred strikes, was a little annoying, Llwn never stops moving or adapting to the situation, despite the constant, crushing weight of the moment. Emptying his lungs and closing his body entirely to outside elements, like a biological hazmat suit, he continues.

Continuing his ever-advancing footwork combined with rapid teleportation, with which he easily avoids the wall of dark energy, and his natural abilities, he seems to be outright growing faster as time goes on, allowing for avoidance of the basic "dumb" projectiles to be quite easy, but the others need special attention. Manifesting his modified shotgun, he lets loose several shots of jagged shards of molten metal, some followed or outright infused with his blood. The normal projectiles are drug by invisible threads of force into the path of the homing projectiles, causing it them to be stuck in an endless loop of trying to move around the shard while it constantly moves in its way, and the blood shots are shot directly at the exploding projectiles, causing them to detonate pre-maturely and well away from Llwn himself. Even if this somehow fails, he can simply create short-lived clones to tank the damage for him.

As this occurs, a large multitude of visages form over Llwn, whose body appears to be straining against itself even more than before. At this height of strength, seemingly arbitrarily capped at ten times his usual permanent level, the thinner skin on his body is ground away, exposing muscle and profuse bleeding, but not an instant of thought is given to it. He continues his barrages of strikes from an even-larger mass of spectral limbs extruding from his body. each performing a distinct variety of esoteric techniques with an even larger variety of weapons through their bursts of speed, which appears to be growing even faster. Maximizing how many strikes can be made by combining that instant of heightened speed with a new technique he recently found within himself, Amarastra's Quick Cut, a technique that maximizes speed at the cost of actual damage dealt, wasn't enough. Those twenty-four instantaneous attacks, each performing three distinct maneuvers in the same moment but in different spaces, are grown to at least thirty and five, and only keep going.

But even that wasn't everything. Interspersed between this completely ridiculous level of metaphorical firepower, is outright illusory blades, so convincing that the closer or more deeply one looks the more convincing they become. They are mixed into the barrage in every possible configuration: simply illusory blades, real blades hiding behind the illusions, illusions hiding behind real blades, and simple, normal strikes, all blended together to throw the woman off in every way possible, and that's not even speaking on how blades are constantly and unpredictably flickering between each of those four possibilities. Even a slight touch would be unpleasant to say the least, as it would be followed by the appearance of toxic blades in various major organs and generally throughout the woman's body, and teleporting away or creating another body wouldn't help, as the "attacks" themselves extend far beyond the physical reach of the manifested weapons and twist in an utterly chaotic swirl of force every way around her.
 
Brusel quickly raises one hand, forming a rainbow colored sphere, then, he repeats the same process with the other hand. "Since Demons are apparently attacking..." He puts his hands together and then forwards, his hair glowing red as he utilizes his God Ki, all in a short burst. Then, he teleports behind a bunch of demons and shouts "Stardust Grenade!" before firing the massive attack. Hair returning to its black color after firing it.
 
As Kiara flies, she manifests one of her shades. It touches her, and she appears to shift, forming two entirely separate kiaras off of her main body. They high-five eachother, and as one uses Doormaker to fly off into her barrier, the other flies off to the nearest location containing demons.

Some demons were playing with a ball, it seemed that they had human disguises and they were having fun.
