Neon was acting tsundere as usual about not caring that Tesla was meeting with another woman, would think after becoming Tesla's woman, she would have more confidence.
 
That's something she'll have to work on just as much as Tesla needs to work on his bluntness. I know he can't lie and all, but that's something that seems to compliment Neon's...err meekness or whatever.

This guy has seen so many things, a boy/guy turning into a girl/woman doesn't faze him. Then again, didn't Tesla mentioned he's faced stuff like the homolucus the Society sends after him or that of some "beasts from another world" or whatever he puts it? He's even associated with a witch and literal gods (by fighting them) of the verse so it seems like nothing would really faze him other than the customs of the 20th century lol.
 
Beasts from another world? Don't remember that, but yea Tesla has seen a lot of stuff, 70 years of experience and all that.

He did get his powers from the thunderbird, a fairy tale, existence.

Neon was pretty calm when trapped in thread too, so she is getting used to the supernatural stuff.
 
I forgot the exact wording but it was something about monsters or beasts when talking about his "awesome" baritsu.

By the time of that story she's seen stuff like the colors and Theodore's mech and Walther's Art so it fits her just being pretty calm about it other than the sticky mucus or thread she was caught in.

Not much of actual news, but I will say that I have completed the whole novel of Karsheel and its links to each post of the book. Redundant, but this is, or what I think it is, more complete than the initial version done on my Google Drive including the posting of Sakurai's Afterword and the use of ruby text for...convienience. Some are done redundantly and others use the alternative used on the ruby text but its there anyways.

So whoop whoop, I get to focus on the Gahkthun Novel Anthology completely lol (aside other things I'll be doing unrelated to it, ofc).
 
So about a weeks gone by and while doing the prequel Gahkthun storylines...I'm borderline passing out and slowing down a lot and I barely got passed the second story's prologue and first portion lol.

Real talk though, I actually miss having Tesla and Neon around, or at least have the stories take place during the main events of the Gahkthun visual novel and, looking at Shining League's (Novel Anthology, bty), it looks far more shorter and simpler for the most part to deal with and pass through. Dragon of Deception, the only post-Gahkthun storyline to my knowledge so far, has some parts like it but like SL, I want to get in on the Tesla and Neon presence more lol.

Basically I'm switching gears in my project planning. I'll still be doing the prequel storylines, but I really want to do SL and DoD. Mainly cuz in case we have to do another CRT for Tesla, more Tesla and Neon presence or at least have the stories take place during/after Gahkthun, and probably will get busy by the time I finish up two stories in the next few months...oh, and get the novel characters I probably want my utmost attention to like Fairbanks and, hehe, Catwoman~
 
If there is one, hopefully it's a 10% update, that would make it 75% edited.

In the mean time gonna continue what i have been putting off for ever, reading other vn's. Seriously i just finished one i started over a year ago lol.

Have like a dozen vn's i need to get through, hadn't finished a vn in months until yesterday.
 
That'd be nice. Then we can get it around Summer time. I feel like that's also where I'll complete up the Gahkthun Novel Anthology but it can really depend. I did finish getting all the text for Karsheel in like...4 months I think? I started that in September but that's only cuz it's a small book.

All I know is that rn if I get SL and DoD out of the way, I can spend as much time with the Gahkthun prequel stories as I want lol. Not only that, I am really curious if Tesla really had any sort of involvement in fighting that Critter Fairbanks fights in SL. If he does, and he also had some kind of interaction with it, that would make his lightning even more broken in the NEP department. Same with how the interaction with the Gahkthun Meta=Critter goes. If all goes as expected, then Tesla really wasn't lying when he said his lightning can harm immaterial beings in all kinds of beings lol.

I probably should get back into my other series I need to get back on. Slime I know I need to get back into, that's top of my to-do reading list. And I got another series (non-LN related) and a manga to reread to rework on this place here.
 
Whelp, looks like the update didn't get posted today on their Twitter. Either they're gonna do a weekend one (I remember them doing that a while back once) or it comes next week or the week after.

I also added some stuff for Stone Golem, the Upper Tier Soldiers and a minor one to CCC.

Not much to it, though I did relooked the Stone Golem chapter and it turns out its heat can turn even Upper Soldiers to ashes. Although its weird how it says that but other times it says it can evaporate stuff from its sheer heat.

For UTS and CCC, I added resistance to Sound Manip due to resisting the Critter voice's, plus I found the thing about repelling bullets and blades come from that same chapter and also straightforward statement of them, the soldiers, not needing to sleep. I take it that being made out almost entire out of Crack Engines means they don't have anything that would require them to eat or breath either. CCC might also have it too, but he's an IDK like the mysterious char he is.

I also found the part where it states Dragon is the "strongest of all Critters". Though this is still a problem with how CCC apparently fought it and later sealed it through some unknown means from what I recall Trex mentioning a while back.
 
Nice, if it continues at this pace should be around 2 months for it to be completely edited, it's looking like a spring or at best summer release of Sona-Nyl.

Yea Dragon should be 8-C then. Idk what happened with it's fight with CCC cause it's not translated so who knows if he could even harm it, and considering he sealed it, i doubt he was strong enough to do much damage.
 
Late Spring or early Summer from the looks of it.

Sounds like the best option to make. Also makes pre Evolution Porshion 8-C consistent.
 
Now that i think about it, Critters around Stone Golem level have broken mind, biological, fear and madness manipulation.

UTS can resist those from normal Critters but against Stone Golem they were running away.
 
I recall that was from monsters and humans partially implanted with Crack Engines running away when they were in the same tier part of the city as Golem.

There was like several UTS and Eralee when Gii got there. Eralee had on Anti Critter Engines which were potent enough to let him be around the area. UTS most likely have it since it's standard equipment for them.

Edit: start from 1:02:55 mark and beyond.

The odd part is that they ended up being KO'd out of nowhere while Eralee was okay albeit ******** his pants at what happened. Could either be from Golem's heat or it somehow managed to increase its panic voice...or the UTS who made the blockade there didn't have their anti critter engine on Which would be odd.
 
From what i can see it's voice of panic increased the closer ppl get to it, and SG was close so their anti critter engine didn't help. If it was the heat UTS would have been vaporized, and not just unconscious.

Not to mention it's stated it's sound is stronger than Wendigo so just based on that SG's is stronger.

But think about it it's voice reached the upper floor of the city from below and was causing ppl above to panic, really it's hax works on a city wide scale.
 
SG is OP, and it's only trumped by Dragon (apparently), Petrovna, Lemure Lemure, Gii, and Kerkan...and GG.

Ah that takes the heat part out, yeah.
 
It's good resistance for the strongest kikai users like Gii and Kerkan.

Is it ever mentioned how many ppl live on the tier SG was on or where Gii normally is? I know there are plenty of building but don't remember if anything else is said.

I do remember Inganock being a very big city, being multi-tiered with 10 story buildings on top of each other like hundreds of times.

SG affected 2 tiers of the city, it's easy has to be at least thousands of people.
 
Not really. I know they have around 500,000 after the shtik with the Critters killing them but idk if it's ever stated of how many exist in each tier. For all I know, jt could have affected anywhere from thousands to tens of thousands of people in both tiers.
 
If we take there to be like a 100 tiers since it's said Inganock has 10 story buildings stacked upon each other tens to hundreds of times, and there being only 500,000 left in all of Inganock, we can say an average of about 5000 would be in 1 tier.

Ignoring that though, think a lowball/guesstimate of thousands of ppl sounds about right.
 
Yeah. There was like 1 mil at first prior to the Rebirth and Critters. After that it gets cut in half in varying numbers by the latter.

Even still, that's a large number of people it affected. Some of which are confirmed to have Crack Engines to help strengthen their minds. The fact SG mind/fear/induced madness in them with even one tier above it is insane.
 
There was also monsters with resistances to psychological issues or something like that too in addition to the people with crack engines.

But yup, it's impressive.
 
Kerkan's existence erasure erases things from the present, it's some form of time hax, all the high tier kikai seem to have time hax ie Gii, and Lemure

Not a single trace of the person it erases remains in the present, because it completely denies the present, pretty op now that i think about it.
 
A hand that can take all of your present, and another that can multiply that present infinitely.

Pretty potent timehax they have. Reminds me that Gii's ability also apparently takes something from someone. I wasn't sure how this was interpreted as but Lemure mentions that Gii "stole Petrovna's power" which is pretty vague to me on what exactly he stole from her.

Oh yeah with Kerkan, that actually makes Porshion's regen even more potent considering the EE works even on Kikai, and Porshion was hit by it only to quickly regen from it.
 
Gii steals the present, Lemure multiplies it, Kerkan denies it.

Don't know what Gii stole, cause he's never used it, wait thinking about it he did steal Petrovna's power, he stole her present, thus stealing her her powers, cause she got rewind to before she became a stolen one.
 
Hmm..........Kerkan one fits with how he sees it. Gii, I think could be more of Porshion but also relates to the journey he's made throughout Inganock that eventually releases everyone and the city out of the mist and such. Lemure...IDK what fits him with that lol.

Yeah it's a one off statement that didn't go into detail about it. Though having Petrovna's powers.....hmmm......


Also about less than 10 pages to go with Shining League. Fastest I've probably gone but I'm getting closer to the incident regarding the Critter fight. So far I've seen interesting stuff for Douglas but I also want to knock off SL so I can get to Dragon of Deception...mainly to get my Catwoman page out (yeah~) and also see if Tesla really did any harm to the Meta=Critter there.

Which leads me with this: If Tesla is found to have, in some way, interacted with the Critter, at least with his lightning, doesn't he technically have NPI against not only possibilities but also beings of information cuz of how Critters can also take form in? Granted I'll still do DoD for the reasons above but still, a question to ask on.
 
Critters aren't information, they are basically abstracts that can become information.

They can enter information space or whatever it's called cause they are phenomenon. But essentially yea since that would mean he can affect abstracts who can become information, but Critters are more than that; phenomenon, possibilities, terror given form, forms of death etc
 
Oh right.

I'm hoping for that. At the least, he'll just get another add on to his existing NPI for the Meta=Critter thing. Again, that depends how that goes and I probably won't get that out for like around early next month. Really trying to get these stories out so I don't have to worry about Tesla for a while.

Interacting with Critters tho...that'll be an amazing upgrade for him lol.

Hopefully. But it looks like it might not be the case from where I'm at. I should be able to get all of this down by like the end of this weekend. Then I'll start up the Sakurai story of the Meta=Critter right after I post it on my blog.

I also realized that Shining League and Dreaming Larva is like the two stories where you have Tesla and Neon around but they aren't the main characters or at least the focus of. SL even moreso when you recall that it takes place "behind the scenes" during the VN, which is cool.
 
Took a tad longer than expected on the editing, but finally finished with Shining League!

An interesting take on another MC's perspective while shit was going down during the main VN.

As like with Karsheel, I did this is in parts due to how long these parts are...and some kind of way to transition to another part by ending them at a certain point. That, and makes it easier to read through them I guess?

Anyways, here's Shining League. Done in just about over a week's time since I started it lol. Haven't started Dragon of Deception yet. Should be able to in this week, either later today or tomorrow.

Edit: Just to put this out, I instead changed the med thing Douglas use so now it's just what the ruby text for it says as Li├íod─ün/Òâ¬ÒâúÒé¬Òé┐Òâ│. Makes things easier and I also DK what the Kanji or Chinese characters for it actually TL's to.
 
Lol actually Superman references, and Tesla being called Superman.

This feels more like the VN.

All this stuff about being beyond time and space.

Inganock references such the staircase and clown, not to mention the same words Gii says to Porshion.

Edison being evil as usual and gets called Nyarlothep,

It ends right as Tesla and co are going to fight the Critter, talk about a tease.

It is. From Nightingales description to the Killer Clown bit. And ofc the repetition of how Zorro is described. If not for showing who is writing what, you'd think Sakurai would have written that lol.

Antoine may or may not have been referring to Edison when he called out Nyarlathotep. God Tree/Ahtu is something I never hear being a name for Edison so it could be another manifestation of Nyar separate from Edison or even M and A. Still, that's consistent with CM Nyar pooping out loads of Avatars.

The laughing moon bit I think refers to Thoth's moon form in the underground NY who has a sneer ass look. There's that CG image of Edison next to him doing the same on laughing at us weak mortals~

IKR? Tesla would have stopped Konrad and even get to fight the Critter but naaaahh...he went to shuleep. So Douglas took his place. Actually then again this is still after the GK event so for all we know, he probably could have come just as Douglas is fighting the Critter. I hope that's the case ^^;

Doulgas is a badass though. Easily as awesome as Tesla for sure.
 
Douglas summons himself? Alter egos from beyond time and space which attack his opponents from all angles of time? Will have to relook at that when i am not so tired.
 
I...don't even know how to actually interpret that lol. Even after inspecting each sentences and words with Jisho (online Japanese dictionary and generator, really helpful in knowing what means what btw).

I thought that as being like some shadow clone jutsu shit from Naruto but I can't say if that's actually something done as actual Douglas or just illusions...although thinking that, that means I have to call BS on the things that happened before the novel like Critters and Kikai or Meta=Critters or even Tesla having lightning as a weapon.

It could be him just summoning up duplicates of himself which is pretty insane.

Oh and on references, we got Joker and Hound of Tindalos. That's sick stuff there too.
