The calc in question. An item Archer had and used on Herc, itll scale to most. Anyway now the thing im not that sure on, Caladbolg eqyals one Herc life, Caliburn , with one attack, killed him seven times over. Would that result in the above multiplied for caliburn as if it was truly seven times over thatd be it right?

The thing is, Archer's Caladbolg II is expressly modified to suit ARcher's personal tastes and does not have the same Anti-Fortress capability as the original Caladbolg.

Even if it did, Archer's copy is significantly downgraded from the original by a whole rank, meaning that it wouldn't be nearly as strong unless he used as an A-Rank Broken Phantasm.

But it isn't even rated as an Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm nor does it possess the same functions.

For all intents and purposes, Caladbolg II is an entirely different Noble Phantasm.

Not really, since Caladbolg II has not demonstrated anything on that scale.

The original Caladbolg is an A+ Rank Noble Phantasm. The only thing it could possibly scale to is Excalibur, Gram, Merodach and maybe Caliburn.

The real question here is, are we going to scale it to those relevant NPs, Reppu, and how is it going to scale further?

And was there not a calc for High 6-C Excalibur, too?

No, the Excalibur is from the Herc thing from Caliburn.

Then afain, I did see mention of another Excalibur grand order calc.

@Prom

High 6-C Excalibur was for Proto Excalibur, not mainstream Excalibur.

@J-Man

Caliburn only did that much damage because its light was released inside Herc. Caladbolg only took one life when fired at Herc from a distance. Same with Excalibur.

I'm talking about a different calc, Repp. It was brought up on the Fate revision thread.

The small country level caliburn/ Excalibur comes from the fact that A+ ranked Caliburn could kill berserker 7 times over, chaos lays out his reasoning in the thread linked in saber's obd profile.

If this legit scales to Excalibur characters who have shattered Rho Aias may possibly scale to ~10% of Excalibur output given Rho Aias allowed Rider's Bellerophon to overpower Excalibur Morgan.

This does not scale to anyone. Broken Phantasms are average in power and reach A rank. This was Caladabolg with a True Name release similar to Tear Drop Photon Ray as well as the fact that it absorbed all the magical energy in the area.

Bump, and wondering if that even if we don't use the scaling to the first Caladbolg, can't it still be used for Noble Phantasms that are superior or equal quality wise?
