Sonic General Discussion Zone Act 1: New Frontiers

It’s prolly not just DB, a lot of people would argue that Tails or Eggman are just speculating and not actually confirming infinite timelines
There's plenty who argue that it's just a theory with nothing solidly 100% confirming it yet. So some aren't fully comfortable with Mutli+ baseline cosmology yet until Ian elaborates more.

I’m actually kinda surprised that speed swap is different from guard and power swap in actually changing speed stats directly instead of just multipliers, wonder why they did that.

I guess that’s a possible Mewtwo wincon then, since it always hits unless the user is too far away.

You’d think god tier game Sonic characters would have more counters to their stats getting manipulated but, not really.

Thought that was just to get the Emeralds working, as opposed to rebuffing super form stats back to normal after they were forcibly altered.

Immunity idol is good but iirc the Pokémon item that stops stat multiplier drops doesn’t work on the swap moves, so not amazing against that, but still good at preventing general stat drops.

I mean.........thoughts into power, nothing stops someone from re powering themselves up with more thoughts/power

But, the Emeralds aren’t losing any energy if the super form’s stats are altered, so is it possible to fill the emeralds with more energy?

So the Emeralds are just accepted to be able to get amped up to 6-D immeasurable an infinite amount of times via emotional empowerment, even if a super form’s stats are lowered to some degree after reaching that apex?

The Chaos & Sol Emeralds (Adventure & Rush) have been dried out husks before & all they needed was a little "thoughts into power" to be recharged to their full might. I doubt a couple of stat changing & swapping haxes of that magnitude would be much of a permanent threat.

I guess I was thinking it might be different if the stat swapping targeted the super form itself instead of the Emeralds, good to know.

Welp. Eggman vs Bowser is gradually approaching and although I firmly believe Eggy should win, for some reason I can't shake the feeling that Bowser will win. It has nothing to do with Mario vs Sonic (2018) in which Sonic should've won using their own scaling

I'll definitely be sadder over Sage dying/watching Eggman die over the koopalings dying/watching Bowser die.

mach 375 vs mach 240000 from the 0.3c calc they had with only a 17 times ap gap for mario. Ya he should have got blitzed by their logic.

Not even just that. I rewatched the video cause someone brought up something interesting. The Calc they did to claim Mario was 12× stronger... was literally directed at Base Sonic. They didn't bother bringing up the Super or Hyper Sonic amp. So, Mario was essentially just... fighting Base Sonic with a Hyper coating—

I think the DK moon getting that high in their episode was because they treated it as being the actual moon (Which I can understand given, outside a few instances, it's shown to be pretty much the same as our own moon, kinda like how we treat the moon in Majora's Mask as the actual moon despite it's shown size being like, maybe a few kilometres).

Althought Donkey Kong >>> All of Fiction so natually he's superior to Dark Gaia)

Donkey Kong ~ Dark Gaia though
Rewatched the post analysis and they really threw that in a black box and never bothered mentioning it verbally lol. Even then though that makes super sonic comparable to mario just way faster to the point where he would outlast any invincibility power up mario has with his 50 second timer and blitz him before mario could put on a new one. So even then db are wrong by their own logic unless they use the mario galaxy feat to get ftl which they mentioned in a black box and never brought up again implying they don't see it as a valid feat for some reason.

They just brought it as a counter to FTL Base Sonic since they really dislike FTL Base Sonic for some reason.

Well I am willing to bet its more accurate to say that they did since in recent years they have been way more generous with their scaling which is why I think base Sonic will be considered FTL in Bowser vs Eggman from the SPD meter or Metal Sonic flying to little planet. But I also think they will make Bowser a few hundred trillion c off the launch star feat since it would be odd for them to grant galaxy crossing speed to Bardock and not Bowser when the feats are extremely similar. I also think they will make super Sonic quad c from the Sonic rush feat for similar reasons.

Would you say it’s possible that the blue wisp is different from the blue wispon, since the wisp doesn’t trap enemies in blocks like the wispon does? Or would you just sys they retconned the wisp for Forces
