I feel some have moved from blaming everything on Iizuka to blaming everything on Ian. I'm almost surprised no one's yet blamed him for Sonic 2's rushed development, by now.

" he'll add the r word (references) to Generations' story " ah yeah those would just kill the substance of Sonic Generations' plot dang yeah

I saw someone say they are worried he will try to "sneak out stuff he doesn't personally like". This makes it sound like he has control over what happens to the SEGA Sammy character, Sonic The Hedgehog. He doesn't, so, that's a problem.
Secondly, what even is there to sneak out of Sonic Generations? Unless if Rouge dressed as Ian Flynn literally walks out of the house with Seaside Hill in her pocket, I genuinely don't feel there is anything lore nor character related that could be axed from Sonic Generations.

Some people think Ian will remove Blaze's comment about Crisis City being familiar or she remembering it.

it.....already does
It's not mentioned in that section. I think he should update White Space to say that within the blog itself with Eggman saying how the Time Eater can erase Time and Space as detailed Here and Here

The section on White Space does not have anything involving it lacking Space. Just time.

......Look at the actual page for it linked in the verge page

Oh. I didn't know there were two cosmology blogs. Why is that the case?

The BLOG you posted was accepted, but the PAGE i posted is what is currently used Cosmology wise
I see. It's pretty confusing to differentiate between the blog and the page since the page detailing White Space isn't explicitly mentioned as 6D even though the blog says it is accepted as 6D.

Two more weeks till Sonic x Shadow Generations releases, gentlemen! Stay strong, we're almost there!

So I recently came across this blog from someone who got the chance to play Sonic x Shadow Generations early and there's some pretty spicy things that he shows us which, for the sake of politeness, will be put in a spoiler tab.

So the main takeaways I've gotten from this were:

1. The White Space in Shadow Generations will have just as much focus as the stages, where you can explore it to your heart's content and unlock more of it as you get more of your Doom Powers.

2. Outside of the leaked Omega that we learned about months ago, there's going to be more familiar faces that'll appear in White Space that you encounter as you play the game...crossing my fingers for seeing a potential Emerl return given he was in the first episode of Shadow Beginnings.

3. The reason why Black Doom is back in Shadow Generations is because the Time Eater's disruption of time can make faces and places reappear for no discernible reason. Given that places like Kingdom Valley and Crisis City and faces like Mephilies appear in these games, I'm wondering if this bumps up the Time Eater a little since it can bring back places and people which no longer existent in history

And 4. The reason why there are sequences where reality is being distorted and messed around with in stages is due to Black Doom manipulating space-time and creating these little dimension arenas which Shadow has to correct to continue with the stage he's in.

For point 3, Time Eater could already do that in the original Generations

Also, I've been thinking about something:
Base unamplified Sonic characters being able to contend with fighters 8× stronger and faster than they are via power cores logically means that an 8× power and speed gap isn't enough to one shot or blitz them in-universe.

Shouldn't this mean that every instance of a one shot or a blitz in the verse should have a value of >8× whathever they're one-shotting of blitzing?

I don't know about that one chief....

I still have hope, but I may just be naive. Especially since the reasoning for the last episode's verdict was so bad (although I am still one of the few people who sees merit in the outcome).
Even though I disagree, I'll say I know some who would agree but not the reasons in the episode. Cause I've seen some intensely heated Omni-Dock debates in my time. So heated in fact that it's a meme.

Would Vegeta's Forced Spirit Fission work on a Super State currently? We see that the Emeralds won't leave the user in an actual dire situation after Supreme/The End fires it's energy sphere & depowers Starfall Super Sonic. Ultra Ego wouldn't have the firepower to destroy or seperate the emeralds with physical force if that boss didn't,either.

Spirit fission works by separating non-inherent energy from the target, and I don’t think it was ever implied you need to be comparable power to do so, so I think it would work to separate the Chaos Emeralds and chaos energy, yeah.

it was said you need to hurt the enemy to use it

Moro said that in reference to just landing the blow, not power output. This sounds weird, but remember, when Vegeta arrived it was HEAVILY stressed his strength was NO MATCH for Moro. Vegeta was able to reduce his powers because Moro messed around and tried to enjoy the battle, letting himself take damage (read: tank hits), and thus weakening him.

With that in mind, Vegeta could probably separate the Emeralds from Super Sonic. It just wouldn’t matter because they’d automatically return at the beckoning on his thoughts/to save them even when they weren’t in use as they’ve already shown they can do. So all that’d happen is Sonic would lose and nearly automatically regain the form, forcing Vegeta to start over.

And this is assuming they just don’t resist the hax of FSF outright.

We know he does not, Eggman has technology for that.
And we are forgetting Sonic has immeasurable speed vs the massively FTL+ speed for Vegeta

Yeah, but Eggman’s tech could just be layered. I was just listing that possibility.

Not really relevant? We know Vegeta wouldn’t actually win the fight or land the punch. The hypothetical question is solely “Would FSF work?” (If it connected?) Yeah, it would. Just like, temporarily at best to give someone an opportunity to ice Sonic in his Base form before he immediately regains his Super Form.
