Scout is in his 9-A Gravel War Key, and has all of his base, and optional equipment, except for his 8-C weapons.

but realistically, scout has a lot of staying power, as he has access to mad milk. he just has to dodge well, (which he can do easily) and shoot him while healing himself at the same time

the same happens with Base Mettaton's switch, it's very much a usable tactic, but people don't use it.

The wires are 0.014 Tons, so I don't he can just sweep his sword and break them, it'd likely require multiple slashes.

Essentially, just outmaneuvering, and shooting Spamton with superior range. And Scout can survive without his soul, so Spamton shouldn't be able to one-shot.

Spamton still has the AP to harm scout physically.

But he can't win, literally. He has no winning condition here, no scenario where it's somewhat conceivable to say he has a reasonable chance of winning. Much like the Papyrus vs Uraraka fight, this qualifies as a stomp.

Scout also plays in melee range because of his shotgun being effective up close, he'd have to use his meatshots because he's at an ap disadvantage here and the pistol won't cut it. So him getting beaten physically by spamton isn't impossible
