Scaling for the Mid Tiers - Maou Gakuin

Whether we use Violent Frag or Pulverization, it will still be 7-B tho, correct?

Also, the soldiers' attacks scrape away cities and leave huge holes in mountains. Them scraping away cities is consistent with the fact that they were also able to harm someone with City level durability.

**Would leaving huge holes in mountains also count as Violent Frag?
You would still need a calc for it depending on the context

This is just a suggestion:

The Anos vs Lay clash was once again proven a 7-B feat. That means Lay has at least 7-B durability during his fight with the soldiers, as that fight happens after the Anos vs Lay clash.

A single soldier's attack:
"The sound echoes. The thrust of <Geddeoruba> easily penetrated <Beno Yeven>, destroying the sake barrel, and scraping off the entire city behind it... The houses, shops, trees, and even the mountains behind them had huge circular holes..."

The soldiers were able to scrape away a city, which is possibly a 7-B feat.
If we count leaving huge holes in mountains as Violent Frag destruction, that would make it a 7-B feat.
The soldiers were also able to harm Lay, who has at least 7-B durability, which could also give them 7-B AP.

With the proof given, it's very likely that the soldiers are 7-B.
Since the mid tiers were able to put up a good fight against and harm said soldiers, they all receive 7-B as well.

What volume is this btw? If there's like a difference between volumes then we should make another key for this.

Anos and Lay clash is from Volume 2.
The soldiers' feats are from Volume 7.

Since the biggest power difference is between Volume 1-10 (Pre-Silver Sea. The top tiers are all 5-A in Volume 10) and Volume 11 and onwards (Post-Silver Sea. Most characters are 3-A), I think it would be unnecessary to make another key.

I myself still think a new key, as suggested by Cloozoma, would be extremely benefitial to this, and would help clean up any scaling confusion people seem to be having. The fact Anos was explicity weaker this early into the series due to being newly reincarnated also helps to this idea.

Anos wasn't any physically weaker after being reincarnated. That being said, he wasn't using his full strength during the clash with Lay.

Ano explicity said he didn't have his full power when he was just newly reincarnated, only a fraction of it, so that's inaccurate.

I still think a new key would be unnecessary...

Although, if the suggestion for the mid tiers is accepted, and others also suggests Anos should get a "Newly Reincarnated" key, which would be his 7-B key, then I suppose it would be fine. The mid tiers would then be comparable to a newly reincarnated Anos, since they all have 7-B feats as well.

Anos already had a "Newly Reincarnated" key that I legit don't get why it was removed when it makes the scaling far smoother and reflects the explicit lowered power he had early in the series, so yeah, I obviously agree with all these people being 7-B because we have the calc for that.

A summary:

The Anos vs Lay clash was once again proven a 7-B feat. That means Lay has at least 7-B durability during his fight with the soldiers, as that fight happens after the Anos vs Lay clash.

Since the mid tiers were able to put up a good fight against and harm said soldiers, they all receive 7-B as well.

We also give Anos a "Newly Reincarnated" key, which would be his 7-B key. Any mid tiers would then be comparable to a newly reincarnated Anos, since they all have 7-B feats as well. (The new key is only optional. They would only be comparable in AP and durability)

Is this agreeable?

So what are the summarised conclusions here so far, along with the reasons for them?

The problem is that destroying a city is not remotely always city level. It depends on the size, the method, and the timespan. Ditto for blowing holes in mountains. Calculations would be much preferable, including ones based on estimations.

Understandable. That's why I only said it's possibly a 7-B feat. Still, them being able to scrape away a city and leave huge holes in mountains is consistent with the fact that they were able to harm Lay, who was once again proven to be 7-B.

**I also think that leaving huge holes in mountains could be Violent Frag destruction, and going by the average mountain size posted earlier, that would also make it a 7-B feat.

We already have a 7-B calculation for the mountain thing, Ant.

Okay. Thank you for the information. However, is that a standard calculation for blowing up an average mountain, or a specialised one for leaving holes right through them?

The Anos vs Lay clash was calculated as Pulverization of an average sized mountain, making it a 7-B feat.
Leaving huge holes in mountains could be calculated as Violent Fragmentation of an average sized mountain, making it a 7-B feat.

Alternatively, we can just stick with average mountain destruction

If leaving huge holes in mountains is calculated as Pulverization of an average sized mountain, it would remain a 7-B feat.

What ImZer said. Lay's feat of destroying a mountain was said to be fall into pulverization by AlexByAlFuturo. The one for the holes across it, which is a different feat by a different character, hasn't been calculated yet, but it's just a supporting feat, so it's not a need.

Okay. Thank you for the explanations. Then it should probably be fine to apply this.
