RWFC8: We Are

Realm follows the others through the portal. Strangely, not much time seems to have passed.

Kura's portal leads back to the Emissary's old base (now converted into a large space-faring ship over the course of repairs), where Old Man Sam is sleeping in the lobby.

"Wait we can control our concepts? No matter. I have to go there."

I use my dimensional travel to try and get to the universe of the Courage Trail.

While I'm traveling, I decide to try manipulating my concept like I saw others do.

You slowly get the hang of the conceptual manipulation with practice.

After easily navigating to the trial area, you notice the entire dimension is now covered in the impenetrable darkness. Nevertheless, Rei's presence is easy to locate thanks to your cosmic senses. She seems to be back in the school, hiding. The presence of what is probably the monster seems to be evenly dispersed among all of the darkness in the area.

"Oh, boy. I think I need to blow off some steam. Wait, I know!" He then attempts to go up to Realm without seeming menacing. I mean, come on, how could he not be menacing?

I fly my arms to the side.

"Time has stopped."

I stop time so that I don't have to worry about the shadows, at least while I walk towards the school.

"I can do this even without the gemstone now, huh? Neat."

I go to the school where Rei is.

"Home, sweet home." i sigh in relief after coming back to base.

"I know i've already said this before, but i'm glad you're ok. Welcome back." I say to Realm, putting my hand in his shoulder. A rare genuine showing of happiness from me.

"Remember, you can rely on us, young lady." I say, teasing him, before heading off to the new thread.
