RWFC6: Old First

I sigh.

I can't ask her to fall to a fate that gruesome.

"We'll be back soon, so don't worry, okay?"

I turn to Kura and grin before going through the door. I see the doors and their values.

Hmm. Normally, I'm weak physically and slow. But, recently that's not the case anymore. I'm going to beat these tasks, to save the world and to show how I've matured.

I start by going to the door labeled "Strength" and enter.

Before I entered Wisdom, I check the door and the sign itself with Dark Matter, to see if there's anything hidden behind it.

  • Seeing others go in I decided...I will face it but then without warning my gut and arm busted vibrating through the room with blood spilling. Damn he wasn't done with surprises. Idk if anyone noticed but I simply walk on while dragging my remains. I went in and saw the ones mentioned which made me puzzled on cooking...I decided to go for strength, speed and courage as I need to beat nacht. He will destroy the world as before should he come back I know it. But...I don't care. As I walked through strength as my mind went fuzzy only to be met with a vision of myself getting dismembered but...as a different person. I hate his...deja vu...*

Azencard readies himself. He goes through the main door.

After seeing the doors, he is left unsure in which door he should go. He should go with either Beauty or Cooking, as they are the strangest doors.

Dropping a coin from GoB, he tosses it in the air. The coin falls on tails.

He shrugs and goes through the Cooking door.

No one seems to have gone to the trial of courage yet so I decide to go their first. I just hope I don't end up having to go to cooking or beauty.

Without anything else, the Stranger went through the main door and then through Patience.

I enter the door.

"Wish me luck."

"I gotta get stronger. For that wish." I think. "That wish, will change everything."

[ you guys know he described the place after the big door right?

are the rest of you waiting for the others so you can plan who goes into each door in story?]

[ Beside you, it's just Jane(who's looking at the sign she's about to enter) and Red who have gotten past the door but not entered a door of value

and overlord who hasn't commented on this thread yet]

[I mean just entering a door with out talking with the group at this point is not thought out]

I give Kura a quick hug, then go trough the door.

I find more doors

DOORCEPTION

I quickly glance at the 8 door and make a decision.

I put on the Chono Corruptor Armor and enter the SpeedWago Door.

"Well it seems no one else wants to talk this through so theres no point in waiting" I enter the Cooking door.

You can't sense anything from the other side.

The room is a massive hall, dimly lit with giant torches that line the walls on each side. The torches stop around 50 meters or so out, leaving the rest of the room in total darkness. Also lining the walls are enourmous suits of armor, standing dozens of meters tall.

Kura follows you through both doors.

"I've made up my mind. Since I... lost Kuro, I'd been trying to follow in his footsteps in the hopes that maybe I could preserve his role, by doing things he would do. No, even before that I hardly made my own decisions, simply following the orders of my master above all else. I've decided that if I want to become stronger, enough to not lose anyone else, I have to follow a path of my own making. I want to take this test alongside you all to prove that I can."

I immediately go for Luck.

What you got for me world.
"Welcome!"

A steriotypical bunny girl greets you as you enter a small casino styled room. Behind her, three more bunny girls (though these ones are fakes wearing costumes) are seated on a mat with six face down cards in front of them.

"This room's trial is a simple dice roll, based purely on luck. Would you like to hear the rules?"

The door leads to a large lake inside a lush green forest. On the opposite shore of the lake is a modest cabin. A flamboyant looking man in a chef hat waves you down from the docks.

The room is small and mostly empty except for a statue of a monkey sitting in the middle of the floor in a meditative position.

You arrive in a dark forest. There's a note on the ground, along with a map. The note reads:

"You must find the 12 artifacts hidden in this region within the time limit. Once you've done so and placed them on their respective pedestals, the trial is complete. But take care, there is a monster roaming the land. It knows what you're doing. If you make to much noise, it will find you. If you get close enough for it to smell, it will find you. If you look directly at it, it will know. Every time you find an artifact it gets angrier, and if it catches you, you lose an extra heart and return to the start. The game continues from there until you pass or fail."

A timer is on the backside of the note, counting down from one hour. There's also a message giving the option sacrifice one of your hearts to exit the trial so long as it's within the first 5 minutes.

Passing through the door brings you to an office inside a space ship.

"Took you long enough."

A woman hands you a list of instructions.

"Finish this in time and you pass, but don't take too long, or the boss won't be happy."

The list contains several locations for deliveries and pickups between a number of planets between star systems including a couple in different galaxies.

"Hm...look like they aren't hiding anything that I could detect. Either they're honest, or even more sly, only one way to find out."

Declaring such, I open the door, and head straight through, while preparing the gem

The Stranger then decides to do the same, albeit it being much harder for him since he's never practiced anything to help him. "What is goin' on?"

  • I walked through then I saw Silas*
"Hey whats up seems this is a weird place huh..." *Then I see Kura going in* "I've made up my mind. Since I... lost Kuro, I'd been trying to follow in his footsteps in the hopes that maybe I could preserve his role, by doing things he would do. No, even before that I hardly made my own decisions, simply following the orders of my master above all else. I've decided that if I want to become stronger, enough to not lose anyone else, I have to follow a path of my own making. I want to take this test alongside you all to prove that I can." *After she finished I walked up and flick her in the forehead*

"Well now you're shaping up. Silas take care of your girlfriend os smth...or jake's...or you guys are in a threesome that is open for others idk." *I pat Silas in the shoulder as I walked forward. My eyes glint a slight dark color as I prepare for the trial*

"This is a trial of patience, so we just have to be patient." Uber continues to meditate, she starts to enter a state of pure calmness.

I smile at Kura.

"Alright, you've found your resolve. That's great. Now, we just have to do this trial and move on. Where could the guardian be?"

I look around for anything distinguishable.

As you enter the room, the door behind you disappears, and three floating "hearts" appear above your head. Across the room is one massive door, with an empty meter next to it. Four normal doors appear on each side of the big one. They're labeled "This guardian values" followed by a specific attribute.

On the left: Strength, Speed, Wisdom, Beauty.

On the right: Courage, Patience, Luck, Cooking.

There's a note on the ground that reads: "doors may change over time".

[Thanks]

"I need to become stronger. For that wish. To save this multiverse."

I go into the door of Strength.

"We'll need to work together for this one." I tell David telepathicly. I then turn into spirit form and demaniphest my armor so I won't make a sound at all. I then make sure to concentrate on every sense and form extrasensory perception I have.

"Do you have something that could help us out here?"

"So can I but it may be better if we divide the roles like that. You can teleport us around and I'll focus on searching the artifacts and avoiding the monster. Let's do this." I respond full of determination.

The Ferret jumps onto your shoulder before you go in.

"This one might be a little tough to do by yourself. You think you can manage on your own?"

[Patience]

Nothing happens.

"Your opponents are the three you see seated in front of you. You'll get three sets of dice while they each get one. The goal is to get a roll higher than theirs combined. Simple enough right? Of course there's a catch. You see the 6 cards in front of you?"

There are six cards face down on the table, colored black, white, red, blue, silver, and gold respectively.

"You'll pick from three of the face down cards to determine the number and type of dice you get to roll. The three you don't pick will go to the opposing team. Once you've picked your cards, the next phase, the rolling, can finally begin. To use your dice, simply place the card(s) you want to use face down on the table. The other side will do the same. However, you don't have to use all your cards at once. If you choose to hold on to them you'll be able to use them during the next round as well. If you can beat them three times, you pass the trial. If they beat you three times, you fail. Any questions?"

"Hello, hello and welcome! Welcome to today's amazing cooking challenge, the trial of a lifetime! We'll only need you to produce something nice for this challenge, no trickery involved at all. Of course, naturally a certain amount of talent or skill is required. You at least consider yourselves as chefs yes?"

[Courage]

Scan pulse reveals a nearby cabin and a large river to the North. Every other direction is forest. There doesn't seem to be any life nearby.

Blushing a bit, Kura flicks Genesis back, sending him tumbling across the floor through the hall. As he tumbles past unlit torches, they light up to illuminate the area, revealing the hall to actually be a giant throne room of massive proportions. Sitting on the enormous throne is a giant of a man, fully adorned in heavy looking regal body armor. In his right hand rests a colossal two handed sword. He's leaned back relaxed into his giant throne as he stares down at Genesis. He lets out a cloud of gray fog, exhaling a sigh.
