RWFC5: the Beginning and the End

"Alright." The old man says, once everyone is together.

"The dimension we're all currently in now is a little place I like to call: The Other Side. Nothing you see here really exists, at least not in the conventional sense. It's a realm of dreams, illusions, a reflection of occurrences in the real world. As such, almost everything that occurs naturally here is simply an echo of a major event in reality. It's somewhere, somehow, in this place, where you'll unlock your potential, and gain your next soul... at least theoretically."

He pauses for a second, scratching his chin.

"I can tell what most of you are going to ask. Yes, this is why it would've been ideal to have Kuro guide us. He and Shiro are the only two who are known to have come here and witnessed the process, aside from The Champ at least. All I know is that you must find the entrance to a certain area, and that there are a number of trials to be completed. Once you've done that, you should obtain your next soul as well."

"Oh, come on! I can't take it anymore! I've went through enough d*m trials!" He shouted, very mad. "....Sorry, I just...that hits too hard at home."

"Do you know anything about where to find the entrance besides it being somewhere here?"

"Sounds easy enough." The Uber's say in unison.

"Well, that's vague... got anymore clues old man?" Azencard asks, before pausing for a moment and saying "Oh yeah... old man, what's your name?"

"Sorry, I'm just not ready. At this point, I don't want any more past lives! I just wanted to live a good life and now the current most annoying thing is this!" He started to tear up. "I can't! Just go on without me, I don't care!"

"What are the trials?"

"This...is a bit interesing but not helpful. Whatever do we fight evil clones again? Not that I would like that again..."

"Do you know anything about where to find the entrance besides it being somewhere here?"

"Well, from what I was told, the entrance isn't a specific place. I think it's supposed to show itself under certain conditions. Probably something to do with a state of mind?"

"Well, that's vague... got anymore clues old man?" Azencard asks, before pausing for a moment and saying "Oh yeah... old man, what's your name?"

"It's Sam. Old man Sam. Heh."

"What are the trials?"

"This...is a bit interesing but not helpful. Whatever do we fight evil clones again? Not that I would like that again..."

"Yeah, I never really asked. Figured I didn't need to know. From the way they described it though, the trials didn't seem to be inherently combat focused."

"Wait, state of mind? What state of mind do you mean exactly?" The Stranger then got up, curious.

"Hopefully we don't have to fight our evil clones, cause I'd have to fight two evil clones of myself." the Uber's say.

"Well, what state of mind? That sounds a bit vague if you ask me." Azencard says, then starts thinking.

I sit down and meditate to enter my inner world after hearing the advice. I look to see if anything has changed there.
