Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

Honestly, I'm in agreement with @Jibz @RandomGuy2345 and @Pikaman

I'm sorry @The_Impress, I don't mean to derail here, but that's really unnecessary; the three of them have done nothing wrong and they all apologized. Besides, like @RandomGuy2345 said, his comment was already deleted by a staff member, so there's no reason to report him for that.

They still violated the rule and cluttering the thread, so saying them have done nothing wrong is also wrong assessment, however i do agree that they only need a warning to not do that in the future, no need to report
I know; I was just trying to be a voice of reason. If I said anything against the rules, I'm fine with them deleting my replies.

I usually see him as chill, but him posting an R word slur is not excusable and Fandom considers that ban worthy. We may need to give him a 3-6 month block (I think that's parallel to Fandom TOS practice) in lack of better options.

If that’s what Fandom does, it seems fine to me.

I'm not sure how valid that post is to him now. So I do suggest maybe not taking it into account in the banning process unless more comes out to support it now

I feel the need to clarify, Jibz didn't apologize. He said he did nothing wrong when he interjected here to claim that what Malomtek did wasn't doxxing, even though it objectively was doxxing.

And since I've seen this sentiment repeated a few times in different contexts I'm going to clarify for uninformed:

The fact that someone's personal information can be found on the somewhere on the internet unhidden doesn't mean it isn't doxxing to seek it out and propagate it, contrary to someone's explicit desire for anonymity.

No idea where this idea comes from that scanning social media accounts for personal info isn't doxxing, but it isn't true. It's the most common form of doxxing there is, and commenting on an RVR thread to defend/whitewash blatant doxxing isn't okay, and Jibz certainly did not "apologize" for it.

Just doing a final warning now, if they do it again it's a threadban for a month.
Okay. That seems reasonable, if it is possible to apply.

Pikaman made a helpful comment though, so I do not know if we need to be as strict to him.

I think that 2 or 3 months would probably be enough (given that he refused to cooperate), as Goji used to be a productive and well-behaved member as far as I recall.

I meant threadbanning with specific time durations rather than all or nothing.

Hmm. That is very serious. Are you certain that it is the same person as our forum member with the same username?
They only ever made an account to give input on my manifold thread and ive been “friends” with them for over a year so yes i can confirm.

You can look over their 9 messages and see their mostly related to me.

I banned his forum account. Can you link to his wiki account as well please?

Okay. Never mind then.

Reporting @GojiBoyForever for using the R-slur to insult another user in this thread. I deleted the comment, but saved a screenshot here.

He may need a longer ban
https://youtube.com/shorts/cPVbdb3tCOQ?feature=share Sorry to derail but the dude who called me the R slur yesterday sent me this video.. he made an ENTIRE EDIT and posted it on YouTube just to attack me ☠️

Where is your last quote from?

Anyway, that is a pretty offensive video, yes.

Okay. For how long do other staff members here think that we should ban Goji then?

Okay. That seems fine with me.

Goji changed his wiki username to nonsense a while back though. Can somebody try to find and link to it please?

I have no idea where to ask this, but this thread seemed reasonable enough. Practically 10 minutes ago, I couldn’t get into the forum because my IP Address was banned. Did I do anything wrong or…?
