I still agree with a short ban. If Regis has been consistently acting like this even after multiple warnings, then how is another warning supposed to do anything? What's that quote from Einstein? "Keep doing the same thing and expecting different results then you're insane."

While I agree Regis is definitely an issue in this thread, it seems sort of hypocritical coming from you, matt. Much of what he's doing here is really not all that different from how you will bluntly call shit wank and tend to debate in a more aggressive than average style, which got you into some trouble on the RVT a little while ago (alongside a bunch of rather BS reports). Honestly, I don't think you calling something wank or regis calling something a lie is too terrible in itself, but the issue is one of consistency here. To call for a ban for this in spite of your own comments doesn't seem like a great idea. He's not the only one who may want to take steps to mellow out.
Weekly didn't really do anything wrong here though. Regis is definitely the problem here and his stubbornness has persisted a long time (Though I don't always disagree with him tbh), but i'm not really sure how I feel about a ban. Maybe a couple of weeks at most?

1. How is this reportable? Politely talking about changes to a profile on someone's wall.
2. How is this reportable? Just a normal post talking about feats, did you mean to link something else in the thread? There's no swears, hostile language, or being unreasonable here.
3. Since this links to Shrek's post I'm assuming you meant to link to Regis' one underneath. But that's still another non-hostile post discussing feats.
4. Starts off slightly hostile "Any proof, or just empty words and nonsensical scalings?", which is something that usually wouldn't even get a slap on the wrist, but from a quick glance the rest of the thread seems to be normally discussing feats.
5. Literally just asking for a source for a statement. Why is this being reported?
6. This is hostile/out of line, for sure.
7. Hostile/bad behaviour from Regis.
8. This is a long thread (planning on Regis' message wall for a CRT) that I don't want to fully read, but Regis calmly asked Matt to stop posting there multiple times. While those requests were stern, I didn't see them go out of line/stop being polite (and Matt's obstinate refusal to leave didn't help things out).
9. Again, I only checked the first couple of posts but it seemed to be polite discussion about feats.
10. This link has a post number of "150" even though there's only 72 posts in the thread. Anyway, from Regis' posts the worst thing he did was say that Weekly was lying two or three times.
11. Only checked the first few posts after this mention, but it seems like Weekly/Regis were both being slightly hostile. Regis was calling Weekly a liar, Weekly was using all caps sometimes, they were both accusing each other of bias and downplay. Not a pretty sight.
12. I checked a few posts in, it was mostly a civil conversation but Regis was being a little sarcastic and said that Weekly wanks characters.
13. I checked a few posts deep, Regis/Weekly were just arguing about feats. The most hostile thing I saw was Regis calling some evidence vague and unreasonable.

Obvious sock, after the two Goku profiles made directly today and whose first comments were trolling posted directly on this thread, it's pretty obvious that a user called "Cell Dorado" who's profile was created today and whose first post in wiki was in this thread would also be a sock.
Regardless, you'll notice I deleted a lot of posts. This is because the thread is cluttered as is. All discussions of this should be moved to message walls, and only posts from Staff evaluating the Regis issue are allowed. This already went on for about 50 posts.

I'm not sure if a ban is warranted. The behavior isn't great but, honestly, that's behavior that many users dip into all the time, including multiple users already on this thread advocating for a ban. Just chill out.
Regis does have a history of being uncooperative and hostile, though, yes. If any ban is going to happen it should be short. I'd just suggest everyone involved learn how to step away from the computer and chill the **** out every now and then. It does wonders.

Regarding Regis, I personally think that Wokistan, Agnaa, Dargoo, The Wright Way, and Promestein make the most sense here.
Regis seems to have repeatedly engaged in stubborn and somewhat confrontational behaviour, but then so have two of the admins he has argued with, although probably to a lesser extent.
I can also relate to his feeling of being oppressed by an authoritarian society that severely punishes and silences any dissenting voices (regardless if they have all the statistical facts on their side), even though it is likely misplaced in this case.
It seems like a final strict warning is warranted, and if he continues we can apply a ban. However, it must be made clear to him that this really is his final warning, and he has to make an effort calm down and stop overreacting when things don't go his own way in the future.
