Im actually gonna see if Shrek can calc it but the sun disc alone is at leat 4 km in diameter
 
Giant slab of rock? I mean if you want to call it a mountain then fine, but could you get to the point based on hypothetical numbers?
 
If legitimate feats and scaling with solid reasoning and evidence to back it up is circular reasoning and wank like youre suggesting then this wiki needs some serious changes
 
I think you need to understand this more carefully. The question is whether Aatrox's mountain killer statement is an empty boasting as an Ascendant. As an answer, we are given two other consistent feats that Ascendants could in fact be expected to 'kill' mountains. We know at least the Shurimans do it, and Azir can also do it when he does it to rock instead of gold (and Azir can manipulate rock as he has done so in his cinematic to the two giant stone columns that flank the sun disc reaching up to its own height).
 
Wouldn't be the first time some people think that some feats and scaling are 'reasonable' instead of wank. If this is all so easy to prove, then try showing it. Make some calcs with reasonable assumptions and explain why and who it scales to and link to them in the profiles. Don't just spam statements with little context to confuse people. That is what this wiki is for, right?
 
A: Shurimans never did such a thing, it was Icathians against one Ascendant, which was never analyzed properly.

B: Azir's TK is not something common amongst Ascendants so why should we scale those feats to everyone else when they haven't shown other feats on a similar level, much less Mountain level.

Because Xerath stole a good majority of the power Azir was going to get, and Azir was still able to do what he did with the power he did get, and both Nasus and Renekton were able to fight Xerath
 
Icathia is a part of Shurima. It's like Ukraine inside the Soviet Union.

And most likely whose military is physically weaker too, explaining why they could not kill an Ascendant without having to topple a mountain in half, and eventually, to summon the Void to have a fighting chance.

Aatrox's mountain killer statement strongly supports that Azir ca in fact lift mountains actually, and not an outlier. The reverse is true as well.
 
Yes, Xerath hijacked the ritual and Azir had to Ascend later, which tells us nothing about how much power each Ascendant gets in a ritual based a lot on one's worth as a person, given that they all show off varied feats of different tiers, with Azir's as the best, followed by Xerath's Arcane Barrage, and Nasus's Sandstorm. Not to mention the lack of calcs made, there's also the fact that it's TK, and not exactly something like the WRs wiping out Ryze's home; a clear AP feat that if someone tanks can be used to scale their durability, and not exactly indicative of Azir's personal stats (withou summoning sand soldiers/magic).
 
Again destroying mountains =/= lifting one, and since Aatrox hasn't shown such a feat, I don't see why Azir's feats apply. It's not like Aatrox can lift mountains like Azir.
 
Aatrox's is the best actually, followed by the guy in Jax's lore. Aatrox can kill mountains and the Ascendant in Jax's lore required destroying a mountain to 'take him down' (which may or many not mean he was truly dead).
 
Aatrox's statement is not verified by proof like feats, and the Icathians brought down half a mountain, without any idea how, before chopping the head off. And it hasn't been analyzed fully, so some assumptions may be faulty.
 
I mean if you want, I could try find out the size of Shurima (the city), as it would help in giving some numbers for Azir lifting it.
 
Ive already got Shrek working on it but from a rough estimate i did, the Sun Disc alone is Class G
 
I don't know whats so hard to understand about the fact that some historic Ascendants could not be killed without having had to topple down a mountain in half, really. "We had to topple a mountain in half = without such effort we could not have killed him"
 
i think that feat could actually benefit from the lowest altitude where a nimbus cloud could be formed. Try asking around some science guys.
 
Except toppling anything onto something smaller means that the force of the larger object is spread out over a large surface -> hence the person underneath won't feel as much pressure as he might if the force was spread over a smaller surface area.
 
Not necessarily no, in this case its literally the same shot just from slightly different angles, and you can still measure the sun disc's size from the third shot on its own
