Quick question about Gold Saint durability(Athena Exclamation)

Correct me if im wrong but haven't gold cloths been shown to survive the Athena Exlamation? Wouldn't that be considered 3-A durability?

In the case of Shaka Vs the 3 specters: yes the gold cloth tanked the AE, but not Shaka.

In fact on that occasion he was disintegrated and thanks to the 8th sense revived a few moments later.
