Quick Question About Disaster

Disaster: A power manifested in Harlequin due to his nature as Fairy King. It allows him to "control life and death." He can turn minor scratches into gaping wounds, trace amounts of poison into virulent toxins, minor growths into cancerous tumors, and raise and cull entire forests at will. He can also use it for minor purposes such as activating an old man's rheumatism. He can also erase others' memories by sticking a flower in the back of their neck.

based on this, shouldn't King and other fairies be able to instantly kill other people? Or is just PIS that it's never used like that?

Most likely resistances. And I'm guessing he can mostly amplify things already in existence towards further life or death. More like an indirect life/death manipulation.

He most likely fight those who can resist disaster or his abilities. Tbh he can petrify people but hasn't used that against people who would be affected by commandment of truth.

Then again can also rack it up to PiS if you want to.

Disaster is a magic power only used by Fairy Kings, so King and Gloxinia are the only users.

As to why King isn't using it to insta-kill people, well he can overpower most of his opponents thanks to the versatility of Chastefiol (who can change form thanks to Disaster). Disaster can only alter the natural state of something and we don't really know the limitations of its potency.

But it would be nice to see King using Disaster without his spear more often to see what it can really do.
