Name: Dialga. Sounds much cooler than simply Alphamon.
Design: Alphamon. I love Dragons don't get me wrong, but Alphamon's Black and Gold color scheme along with his heavy knight appearance and angel species-like wings make him look more god-like to me and overall more badass. Also....
Basis: Alphamon. While a temporal dragon based upon Izanagi is badass. A Temporal Holy Dragon Knight based off one of the Knights of the Round Table is even cooler imho. Not to mention the idea of him starting out as a small and fluffy Beast Dragon and then becoming a Holy Knight after all his work to protect the entire Digital World.
