Post-Crisis Wally West 2-A CRT

Maybe we could just use a variable tier and say 4-B, possibly 3-A for the Infinite Mass Punch being Speed of Light. Mention that as he approaches it can range anywhere from the two extremes.

Now, I think ultimately High 3-A is legit here. Don’t forget it comes from the true Infinite Mass Punch, a punch with, well, infinite mass. Infinite mass = infinite energy, which lines up neatly with its statement if ripping the universe open.

If that was the case it shoudl have been said to annihilate, erase or wipe out the universe, not to rip it open. That's too underwhelming, the definitions words have>what it should theoretically do.

I am also fine with Firestorm808's suggestion of "Unknown, possibly 3-A".

Was infinite energy stated outright on this occasion?

Speedsters use wonky physics, the regular infinite mass punch isn't High 3-A and unleashing this infinite energy just creates a singularity in the universe that rips it rather than destroying it all, it's something that would happen due to a speedster not controlling her own powers well and getting destroyed by it and yet it's still retained in a less-than-infinite way.

Edit: They don't remind us of the infinite power in the scan, idk if it's pointed out in the story.

Okay, but was infinite power mentioned in the relevant story?

I agree with this, it’s a Self-Destruct High 3-A attack.

The ripping the universe part not meaning destruction is debatable due to Superboy-Prime not being able to dodge it.

It’s implied by her becoming a singularity if she keeps moving closer to lightspeed + Superboy-Prime can move at exactly light speed so why wouldn’t Wally be able to?
We cannot scale between different authors who generallly have almost no knowledge or care regarding the standards established by other authors. As such we need an explicit statement about infinite energy in conjunction with the feat. Becoming a singularity might work as evidence though.

Isn’t it like the same story though considering it both involves Prime who doesn’t appear too often?

If Geoff Johnns was the writer for both of them, I suppose that you have a point.

Thank you. "Possibly 3-A" seems sensible then.

All right, I also found this scan talking about a relativistic mass punch and ripping a hole in space-time, it might be worth looking into. It could be that this debunks the High 3-A rating though (or at least based on the Jenni feat) since Supergirl wasn't going at exactly lightspeed in the scan.

Possibly yeah, it was more to indicate that 3-A and High 3-A don’t really rely on each other since one can work without the other. That said since the Supergirl feat mentions space-time it could actually be a low 2-C environmental destruction feat for Jenni instead of 3-A.

So "Possibly 3-A to High 3-A" then? Would that be acceptable for the rest of you?

So is somebody experienced who knows what he or she is doing willing to apply this please?

Thank you for helping out. Tell us here when you are done.

Thank you.

Should I lock the profile page and this thread then?
