Pokémon Reburst: Songs of the People RP

"Uh, from the forest, where else?" Kaedae asked as she took a handful of small berries and shoved them into her mouth. "I mean, we can't get it from the store that's for sure."
 
"...Well, we're going to skip on that then. Just the fruit and vegetable is enough for us."

I said, before doing exactly just that.
 
Thomas gave a halfway smile at Gary. "A vegetarian, huh? That's cool, I guess." He picked up his chopsticks, struggling slightly to put them in place due to the vigorous training he had, and began eating the food placed in front of him
 
"Uhm."

I and Riolu then continued to eat like normal, as if the practice didn't phase us much, aside from a hungrier stomach.

"Anyway, we sure have a rough day today huh?" I began the chitchat
 
"It was certainly unique. Though I am glad that it happened, as it lead to us discovering this power and, well, we might be able to live better lives someday thanks to this."
 
"Speaking of which, we never really told the reason we all wanted to join this whole thing, as sudden as it was. I already pretty much hate this government and what they stand for in general, and also an oppoturnity for my and Riolu's sake, but what are you guy's reasoning?"

"I suggest it shouldn't be something half-assed."
 
"Yeah, same here." Thomas said before picking up a wild mushroom and eating it. "I'm just really glad that I can actually make some real friends for once. I kinda didn't have anyone to lunch with back at Pallet High, so this is nice."
 
"That is my reasoning too. I dislike the absurd amount of control they exert on the population. We've been given the chance to do something about it and so we should."

"Well, I obviously didn't come here just to make friends. That'd be ridiculous. It just seems like it would come naturally with what we're doing here." Thomas set his chopsticks down and stared off into a distant corner of the room. "Actually, now that I think about it, I don't really know why I decided to follow along with all of this. Huh, weird." Thomas shrugged before picking his chopsticks back up and began to tear into a large piece of steak.

"...Well, unfortunately, we can't exactly go back to the way it was, so I can only wish you good luck in finding something. Better sooner than later though..."

"Because sooner or later, you are going to have to....In my experience, at least."
 
"Well, it's not quite that, I merely wish to see our world become less of a horrible place than it is now and it seems this government will have to fall should we want to achieve that." Nicholas responds coldly.
 
"As far as I'm concerned I only accepted because I didn't have much choice, I never cared about becoming a hero or such idiocies ... but this government is corrupt and most probably now my family is in danger, so ... I'm afraid I have to stay with you all for a while, even if I don't agree with or care about this plan of backhand of the government, "I explain.
 
"We all have problems with the government," Kaedae commented as she ate her food rather calmly. "It's not like anyone in the lower class agrees with what the government is doing. They just don't have the freedom to express their hatred."

"And that's why we gotta fight for them!" Haruto said with his mouth filled with food. "Give 'em, you know, freedom and stuff! Defend the defenseless!"
 
"You know, I've always been the kind of person who wouldn't have expected much from life, I just wanted to graduate, find a small stable job and start a family ... and now I find myself doing the rebel with the powers of my pokemon and to fight a corrupt government ... "I say, then lower my gaze thoughtfully.

"But there is still one thing that makes me rather confused ... why have all of you taken this thing with such condescending attitude? At the very least a normal person would have gone mad after all this" I ask, looking at my schoolmates.
 
"I guess you could say I came here to make a difference. If the government is stopped then that opens the opportunity for many to Better their lives."

"Another big thinker among one of us, isn't it then? You two should cooperate to be the new politcal party then."

I said, sarcastically encouraging them.
 
"What's wrong about changing the world, huh? We're all her eyes to make this place better, aren't we? Well...I suppose most of us are." Kaedae shrugged. "That's why Haruto and I joined the old man. We knew all this wasn't right."

"Well, I'm sure you guys will do great. I'm sure me and Yapper both will be supporting you!" Thomas then realized there was an extra plate next to him and quickly finished the food on his plate. He then turned to Haruto. "By the way, can I be excused? Yapper doesn't like eating with others, and I'm sure he would like to finish this."

"...True that. I pretty much don't like political talk, and all that big thing though. Me and Riolu rather just want to walk our own path."

I said this, while observing Riolu, who was eating happily right now.
 
"I get what you mean. Politics are awful to talk about, but when we're doing things like...well, this, it's difficult to not have politics be brought up." She has also glanced towards Thomas and nodded at him, saying that he could be excused.

Dinner would last for...quite a long time. At least an hour, maybe more, as the group would simply chat amongst each other. After a while of playful banter and eating, Kaedae stood up from her table. "Well, I think it's time we hit the sack. You got a long day tomorrow, you know. I think we can even give you all a special task tomorrow, but until then, sleep. You'll find a lot of beds to the right side of the house
 
"Well ... then I think I will go, I need some time to adapt ... let's go, Solrock" I say, and then head to the room with the beds followed by my pokemon.
 
"Riolu, tomorrow we will do the usual routine at 5:00. Have a good night sleep."

I let Riolu pick a spot on his own, and then goes to sleep along with him.
 
"Alright, let's hit the hay!" Jasmine said with a smile as she moved towards the bedroom area.

Spring, meanwhile, sorta just sat there, picking at his food which was still barely eaten. He sat there for several minutes before sighing and walking off to the bedrooms.

((Gonna wait for Starter and then I'll King Crimson this))
 
Dinner went by for Thomas and Yapper quite quickly, and with no one else around, Yapper acted just as energetic with Thomas as most other Popplio would, putting on miniature shows for him using his bubbles, and just having fun for the first time in a long while.

When he heard the call to go to bed, Thomas got up to leave, but Yapper cowered at the thought of them going back to all the other people. Sighing and scratching his head, Thomas took a moment to think about this, before picking up his Popplio and walking outside of the base, back to the fallen log Yapper had hidden in that morning. He laid his head back on the log, and with his body sprawled on the grass, he and Yapper slept together under a beautiful curtain of stars, as the sounds of nature lulled the two of them to sleep.
 
The night would pass by without worry, and early in the morning, they'd hear what sounded like pots and pans being hit together.

"Alright, everyone wake up!" You could hear Kaedae shout out from the area where you ate last night. "Time to eat your breakfast! It's the ripe ol' time of six AM! Everybody up!"

She was certainly being loud about it.

Thomas, too, if he didn't hear thebpots and pans, would most definitely feel himself suddenly be lifted up into the air. Haruto was there in his burst form. "You often sleep outside?"
 
Nicholas gets up, feeling somewhat groggy, and goes to the area where the food is, Porygon floats after him.

"Must you be so loud about it? Surely there are better ways to wake us up." He said to Kaedae, Porygon buzzed, as if affirming Nicholas' statement.
 
I moan and then stand up exhausted, stretch me, yawn and go lazily for breakfast.

"I recommend ... try to wake us all up with a trumpet next time" I say to Kaedae, complaining.
