OP Earth Size

we may need a new speed revision thread so we can get back on topic here about OP planet size I still say at least slightly larger than Jupiter sized at a minimum of 2543307628.0896km diameter or 15.63 times earth based of size required for its atmosphere to be able to encompass its closest moon 9380km away. still a whole lot more reasonable than sun sized and this would be diameter from pole to pole not atmosphere to atmosphere that would be 9380 km on top of the diameter I listed

to be more accurate I would request someone try to find the distance between OPs via travel time moon and the planet since for this calc I lowballed by using phobos as reference as it is the clostest moon to its respective planet if you could calc the distance between the moon and ground it would be simple math to calc the size of the planet divide that number by height of earths atmosphere (600km) and then you get the number of times bigger than earth it would need to be to have a habital planet where you can travel to the moon via airship or balloon

I don't know how seriously we can take Enel travelling to the Moon in an airship tbh.

The One Piece world is so weird I wouldn't be surprised if the Moon just had its own atmosphere, and there was some mythical air-bridge connecting the two.

Or Oda just decided to ignore the physics of it and have an airship cross the vacuum of space.

or space is not a vacuum or everone in one piece doesn't breathe oxygen which we know they do thanks to ceasar it easiest to say that the atmosphere extends past the or reaching to the moons(plural) since if a moon could get within several hundred meters of the planets atmosphere its own gravity should trap a portion of it creating its own atmosphere. so either the atmosphere reaches the moons or completely encompasses it the numbers I gave are the former lowballing since it would be more reasonable than encompassing since we do not know of life on other moons just the closest one.

I like the air bridge idea in concept but it is far more of a stretch than the planet just being big to the point of its atmosphere reaching over 9830km also atmospheres are in multiple layers getting thinner as you go up so if the atmosphere was big enough to reach the moon its gravity btween the two would be stronger creating this thicker portion of atmosphere almost like an air bridge but again the atmosphere would need to be reaching within a couple hundred meters of the moon

Anyway, I'd rather wait for more conclusive evidence from the series. I think for now we should roll with the latest calced results.

very well i'll hold off unless pressed further but I gotta write this down joyboy needs to hear this theory on what may be causing the strange climate zones and tidal currents on the grand line
