It's Orochi's calculation, Boros (Released) > Tatsumaki >> Psykorochi confident of beating someone who One-shot Orochi > Orochi (Calc 5.68 Exatons)...

True, but knowing Boros and his way of wanting a good fight, he’d likely start off like he did against Saitama, in hand to hand combat.
All Roshi has to do is find an opening to put him to sleep and seal him (can’t kill him due to regen) which shouldn’t be hard with his superior ap and martial arts

okay, if boros has knowledge of roshi's abilities, he would be more careful while fighting him, and due to roshi's lack of heat resistance, he would be screwed after a few heat attacks from boros, and if boros goes into metoric burst he outspeeds and just bfrs roshi to space and calls it a day

not voting yet tho, gonna wait a little

Does he usually dodge energy blasts and the city sized AOE?
He should above to dodge Boros’ blast considering they act as a small projectile until they impact something sturdy enough to make it disperse (Saitama).

Even while being careful it shouldn’t be too hard for Roshi to manipulate openings in his attacks and eventually put him to sleep, the requirements aren’t too strict for this to be pulled out mid combo.
and due to roshi's lack of heat resistance, he would be screwed after a few heat attacks from boros,
This is a fair point, but Roshi should be able to dodge these attacks as they have a clear charging period and give off an obvious aura. He could either dodge them or overpower them with his own blast, the kamehameha.
and if boros goes into metoric burst he outspeeds and just bfrs roshi to space and calls it a day
Isn’t that form considered way too fast to be used without equal speed?
It doesn’t have a stated multiplier afaik so it’s speed would also have to be equal to that of Roshi’s otherwise it’s just a straight forward blitz.

You have to consider the fact that he can spam these as well. He only shot one against Saitama. Enough of these and the battlefield will be a smokey and super heated terrain that Boros would have no issue surviving in while Roshi will have issue breathing in all the smoke.

I mean Boros literally just threw 1 energy blast in the entire fight, he doesn't spam them
He can, it's in the databook and one stated that would be his strategy if he fought garou. He only used the one because shortly after Saitama triggered him into going into MB.

Super heated is a bit eh, after firing them off the ship doesn’t appear to be melted anymore or give off heatwaves, the shockwaves from Boros punches are shown capable of blowing away all of the smoke on the ship, so him or Roshi landing punches would achieve the same effect.

This, Boros in character also don’t seem to fight this way anyways.

Scan?

This is the thing, boros would know about the ability and avoid it

If boros hits the ground then he will be hit with the aoe of it and get burned badly

Nope, it would be far faster then roshi here, enough for boros to outspeed, dunno about blitzing tho

Roshi literally has to lift his hand and the effect takes place, lol. Boros knowing about it doesn't automatically negate Roshi's ability to use it. As long as he has his superior skill and AP all he has to do is lift his hands and Boros falls asleep.

Boros, in character shoots directly at his enemies and has never showcased a level of strategics when fighting enemies. Even if I agree that he'll do this, it wouldn't work anyways. The only reason this attack dispersed the way it did against Saitama was because it hit an impenetrable wall, forcing it to do nothing but traverse around it, causing it to disperse. If he tries to shoot at the ground he'll just shoot directly through it. Master Roshi would take that opening to put him to sleep if he even attempts such a thing.

Without a proper multiplier we can't say how much faster it is. Roshi's superior skill would allow him to fight against someone faster than him anyways.

Sure, here it is.

This part in particular.

Even if you look at the portrait description, Boros will fight with overwhelming power, superior playback ability, energy attacks from a distance, while Garou will fight with excellent fighting ability (though I showed off and knocked down Saitama 's attack many times). I can not certainly say which is stronger.

He doesn't say he spams them, lol.
What's your stance on this counter to any of his energy attacks.

Oh Boros has prior knowledge? Then yeah I don't see why he wouldn't use energy blasts from a distance.
Because in character Boros isn't fighting for the sole purpose of winning, he's fighting to bring joy to himself and find opponents to push him further than he has been before. There's no joy or struggle in sitting back and spamming ranged abilities, and Roshi would either overpower these with his own attacks or put him to sleep with an opening as clear as day.

Boros goes all out(not including meteoric burst) that's where he gets his enjoyment. He's not going to hold back he's going to do whatever it takes the win. It's the whole point of his journey.

No he clearly implies his enjoyment comes out of fighting someone that can finally bring him entertainment and push him. That's his journey, even when fighting Saitama and being clearly overpowered he continues to hold back and power up whenever he sees fit. It's in character for him to test his opponent and make the fight entertaining, doing so will lead to his downfall regardless of his pre-existing knowledge.

Yet he still figured an energy blast at Saitama not knowing if he’d survive it or not.

Saitama up to this point has resisted everything Boros has released, even destroying his arm. Boros knew Saitama was gonna survive and the moment the attack went off he was on that and immediately traveled to Saitama.
