I'll move this to the Calc Group forum section as it seems more appropriate there.


And as for my thoughts, the 1st calc can't be used as the issue is that the 3 miles figure being used is based on horizon distance which is not a factor here.


And as for the 2nd calc, I think that the currently used calc is better than it as it is a simple size comparison between a character's canon height and the palace, and the palace to the island. I think that is more reliable than using angsizing to find the distance there.
