I personally think it's too soon to call on that. We might get some hint about his strength at the time, but it's not necessary to conclude anything the same day the chapter was released.
In other news, who's that woman? Shirohige doesn't let women fight in his crew, so who's she?
Akainu is Low 6B due to being two-hit clapped by Whitebeard, for what that's worth. And the only damage he ever inflicts is on a Whitebeard suffering a heart attack or an already-dying Whitebeard. The Bisento-block with a leg is the only relevant scan, and based on the fact that Akainu gets clapped so readily, it'd be weird to scale him from there.
So 'clashed with Whitebeard many times' is a really weird way to say 'gets obliterated by the dude'
Akainu got easily overwhelmed. What makes Oden's feat more understandable is the fact that he did indeed class with WB head on off the jump but it was also a WB who was in better shape then sickly old WB.
Not only that WB has haki. He literally states that something incredible is approaching. Let's not forget u can gauge power with Haki and sense life force. He proves this in the same chapter where he said he could sense humans nearby.
Akainu returns like 2/3 chapters after those two attacks in perfectly fine condition. Whitebeard also surprise attacks Akainu for his first hit yet it does nothing and Akainu is able to immediately respond by melting part of his head off. People always ignore context with Akainu vs wb
IIRC someone mentioned WB reaching or leaving his prime in hs late thirties. I think it was a vivre source though. Still 30s to 40s seems like a prime time to me. 50s a little less so and of course by 60s its retirement time and further down from there.
But enough speculation and early hyping, I'm interested in who this woman is with WB.
Also a big "awe" for the little kid versions of characters.
