Germa aren't actually emotionless. All the times they laughed themselves stupid bullying Sanji and being malicious proves that.
They don't have emotions, Oda wrote them to quote Reiju "lack all emotions" and made it clear that was the case. During the wedding when they were about to be executed as Reiju said "even their own deaths won't get a reaction from them" due to judge taking all their emotions.

Yeah; no self-preservation on their part is what that scene is supposed to convey but it is clearly inconsistent as we also later see the Germa reacting strongly to their father being taken down by Big Mom. Something that wouldn't make sense if they were emotionless.

Now before you guys get mad at me for this theory hear me out rq but what if it was possible that anytime someone falls in love with boa she is able to steal their love so she can store it. So that she can forcefully make people or objects fall in love with her. So then they can be subjective to her stone affect .Similar to how julius novachrono steals time from the people who he kills with his time magic so he can use time abilities.

We get a direct example besides Hancock and the pacifista that Cyborgs without emotions can be made to feel lust in this series as shown with Germa and Nami.
But PX are robots, not cyborgs- right? I always thought they were robots through and through

Nah they're not robots, they're cyborgs just like Kuma. They're clones of him in the same sense that the Seraphim's are biological clones of the warlords + Lunarian DNA. We see this when they bleed etc.

Although, I'm changing my opinion on actual inanimate objects like the weapons and cannonballs. It does seem like Hancock can just turn them to stone regardless and the databooks don't mention her lust ability in relation to turning actual inanimate objects being required.

However, I disagree with the Pacifista being included in that as I've brought up above.

I had it wrong then. Still, for things like cannonballs, Smoker's Jutte, swords (arguably transponder snails since they're asexual) her ability seems to just kinda work.
It could be a case where her love beams are what work on things via lust, while her offense (slave arrows and kicks) work regardless

Px bots are not humans they are 100% robots. Kuma on the other hand is half robot half cyborg but I think his emotions were removed.

The most terrifying "human weapon" ever developed by the genius D. Vegapunk!

An unfinished "human weapon" developed by the genius naval scientist D. Vegapunk, which is still being improved. Bartholomew Kuma was used as the test subject for the weapon, and the laser of Yellow Monkey is mounted in three places on his mouth and hands. Despite its name meaning "pacifist," even the prototype can easily overpower pirates worth more than a hundred million. When it is completed, it will pose an unprecedented threat...
Bro... Let me not find all the translations, that's the pacifista's vivrecard

Nah, the animals like transponder snails and the snakes showed lust in their eyes when she turned them, that's social influencing. Weapons and cannon balls seem to just be turned to stone regardless.

I don't agree with her kicks and projectiles working regardless as otherwise the power wouldn't be useless to Blackbeard and Hancock would have used slave arrow on Luffy who could resist her lust when he tried to escape. The smoker example also implies her kicks are lust based as well.

I thought I didn't work on luffy because he didn't care about lust. Because he's innocent. And his love for adventure blocked his love for lust. And plus hes stupid so.

He lacks lust towards her, but if we treated her kicks and slave arrow to turn anyone to stone regardless then she would have been able to turn him to stone when he tried to escape.

Well she did say another user can't break her spell, not that the ability is pointless entirely.
Maybe he could use it but can't reverse the lust based petrification because you need to invoke those specific feelings. I don't know what the ruling on inanimate objects would be tbh. In her hands the ability fully relies on drawing out the lust within others, but with inanimate it works anyway.
Snails should be asexual but we see them feeling lust. Could that just be social influencing or does it feel under some sort of manipulation ability where you're forced to feel it even if you're naturally not attracted to her?

No, the point made by Hancock first was in response to Blackbeard wanting the power. She said the power in general is useless without her beauty; meaning he wouldn't be able to turn anyone to stone due to that.

From what we've seen stuff like weapons, canon balls, etc would just turn to stone regardless.

For now it's social influencing, from the dialogue she's hyped up as someone who can make anyone feel lust regardless of age, gender and even species. I don't think she has any hax that forces you to feel emotions for her as otherwise momonga and Luffy would have turned.

Human weapon doesn't necessarily mean robot though. Not trying to rush you but they're clones of Kuma who's also a pacifista and a confirmed cyborg.
Hmm?
I'm saying they were originally a human, then turned into a robot

Pasifista
508 ◆World Government/Human Weapon

The most deadly weapon ever developed by the genius Vegapunk!

A human weapon modeled after Bartholomew Kuma. It has no feelings and only obeys instructions. Starting with the lasers emitted from its mouth and hands, its entire body is a deadly weapon. It is being improved day by day, and is getting closer to becoming a more complete being.

↑→Mass-produced Pacifistas. The cost of production is several hundred million dollars or more per unit, but the prototypes used in the Summit War were prototypes.

2Pacifista

A menacing human weapon with overwhelming power!

It was built based on Bartholomew Kuma, who volunteered as an experimental subject. It was built at a cost equivalent to that of a warship, and is strong enough to fight even against pirates worth more than a 100 million yen.

←↓ In addition to Kuma's strong body, Yellow Monkey's attack power is also reproduced! Experimental subjects are sent in after every incident, and they have made a mark.

↑ PX-0 is Kuma himself. Due to a program just before his brain was improved, he continued to protect the Sunny even though he lost his memory.

↑Kuma is actually a senior officer of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, but what is his true reason for agreeing to the experiments?

Steel" is stronger than "iron"!

The Navy, which is running the world for the sake of justice, has no hesitation in strengthening its weapons and facilities. The siege walls of Marine Ford and the entire body of Pacifista seem to be made of steel, which is still rare.

↑→ Its defensive effectiveness is outstanding. It is extremely difficult to destroy them even with the power of a person of ability, let alone a physical attack.
250-f251.jpg

Amazing technology that overturns common sense with mankind's weapon "knowledge"!

From revolutionary navigation techniques to terrifying weapons... The scientific power of the world government is gradually revealed! Explanation of the many technologies made possible by the wisdom of mankind!

No way I did not find the statement about them originally being human

Misread who you originally sent the message too, sorry.

They are originally human, as they are cloned replica's of Kuma's body as stated (same thing with Germa and the Seraphim) but they're not robots, they're cyborgs like the original Kuma.

Updated the OP and sandbox regarding this.

Petrification:
Updating her petrification explanation to include her feats besides effecting just people and removing the stuff about her physical blows and projectiles being able to turn anyone into stone regardless of lust as that isn't the case, adding the fact that her petrification seems to work regardless of lust on inanimate objects like cannon balls and weapons.
Petrification (with the Mero Mero no Mi she can turn almost anyone to stone as long as they possess lust or perversion towards her[3][4][5][7] and is able to turn inanimate objects such as weapons or cannon balls to stone regardless of lust or even inanimate objects such as cannon balls or weapons[7][8])
Hmm 🤔, I guess for now that's ok... If I haven't forgotten anything

Tho proving her touches, petrify without attraction will be insanely hard/annoying to prove

What about... I guess it's not a blunt blitz feat 😶‍🌫️

That explanation mentions "inanimate objects" twice.
Thanks I've fixed it.

The change in the OP isn't proposing that she petrifies those she touches regardless of attraction, rather, that inanimate objects get turned to stone regardless of attraction but living things like people etc still require attraction regardless of the technique she's using.

I know... 🙈I just said proving that she petrifies those she touches regardless of attraction, is hard/annoying to do 🤔 I think

Blackbeard even mentions to his crew that they could "Have their way with her" after he stole her powers, heavily implying he came there to capture her alive. Meaning he wouldn't be trying to snap her neck like he almost did to Ace.
Just noticed I never responded to this, Blackbeard never says this. He only says that he came for her powers, Devon says she wants to kill her and Blackbeard said she can as long as he gets her power (we already know he can steal powers from dead people). Only the weird nose guy wants to keep her alive and neither of them responded to him.

Blackbeard responds to Catarina. She says she wants her head and Blackbeard says she can have her way with her after he takes her ability.
So either he means Catarina can cut take her head even though she's dead- or that he'll leave her alive and let catarina kill her. Both translations somewhat imply Blackbeard just wants her ability and doesn't care if his crew kill her after

As Snook's said, Blackbeard did say that line in the fan translation of the chapter. Don't know what the official release says.

But uh, sure, he can and has only shown to steal powers from dead people so Ig it's likely he'd want her dead.

So far as we know, Devil Fruit users need to be dead for their ability to be taken.
Most likely because the manga and anime states that once the user dies the devil leaves them and goes to something else. We see that when big mom ate mother carmel and obtained her powers. Or how blackbeard needed to kill wb to take his power.

Viz translation(official) says it too, and one of his people say boss can't we keep her alive but blackbeard most likely knew she would've turned everyone into stone and killed them. Which I think blackbeard ended up attacking the person.
