Should the area where "Nihilistic World" is constructed on was filled with positive energy--lifeforce--it will interfere with the manifested negative energy of "nothingness", causing them to cancel each other and leading to a phenomena of annihilation. Thus, if this Power were to be expanded upon a wide area, a massacre of all lifeforms would occur.
Fortunately, the total amount of "nothingness" energy that could be called upon is proportionate to Testarossa's Skill. Due to this, the range of "Nihilistic World" is naturally limited.
However, that was only possible if the prerequisite was met--that Testarossa did not let go of her control over her "nothingness" and just let it run amok.
Testarossa was feared precisely because she had the potential to destroy the world.
However, it was difficult to make any effective usage of "Nihilistic World" against strong foes. As mentioned before, the living automatically counters "nothingness" so if a certain amount of life isn't thinned out, its effective range will be narrowed.
If it were to deployed on a strong foe, it was necessary to avoid drawing in any unwanted beings. As it was a Power that can't make any distinction between friend and foe, there were very few situations where it can be used.
Although it was extremely powerful, there were few occasions that it can be used. Even the highly intelligent Testarossa was unable to master this Power.
But now, Testarossa had obtained the ultimate skill "Belial". With it, she has perfect control over this highly dangerous Power.
Its synergetic effect was unimaginable. It gave Testarossa such a complete advantage, it made her enemies seem pitiful.
Only Moss, the Viceroy of the White Forces, knew how dreadful this Power was.
No life can survive in this Hell. It was true nothingness", something that causes even "souls" to be annihilated and turned into energy.
The only ones who can endure this hell were high-ranked spiritual lifeforms...
And the Abyssal Hell was a realm where even said high-ranked spiritual lifeforms cannot survive.
Testarossa's "Nihilistic World" can summon that Abyss in the living world.
Incidentally, Ultima's specialty dark magic: Nihilistic Banish, was a magic that imitated the mechanics of this nightmarish abyss. Not only could it spread over a wide area but it can also expand onto the whole region, so one could understand just how terrifying this was.
In the unlikelihood that Testarossa was unable to control it, the "nothingness" would emanate endlessly. The world would be swallowed up by an ever-expanding abyss, and collapse.

Ah. You should have made that clearer. I don't read Tensei Slime.
Still, I think it looks just as fine enough. That one did put different wordings like putting "World of Nothingness" instead of what the katakana/ruby text called it as "Nihilistic World" but it's passable enough if you were to explain that.
Edit: Also, they wrote "Ability" instead of "Skill" which I believe that's what the series officially and maybe fan translated as instead. Though the kanji for it does read ability. But again, that's fine enough if you explain the terminology difference in the translations. Mines is done more to go by what the series translate certain words as I did.

Its more of for logistics, reasoning and/or philosophy.
(念 Nèń) on the other hand is much more synonymous with concepts, ideas.
And even then, that is usually only done through a portmanteau/blend-word.
Like combining the two into (理念 Ri'nèń) means a Platonic idea, though that is super niche and rare.
Far far more commonly is both (概念 Gáìnèń) and/or (観念 Kàńnèń) just meaning a regular notion/concept
