Nanatsu no Taizai scaling issues (Again...)

Yep and Full Throttle Mode Wild also scales to the the 50% Gods as he managed to overpower 50% Demon King with that form. But that's only when his profile gets made. His base form is still unknown until we know how strong Purgatory Ban is.
Nope nope and nope...he just messed his balance up a tad bit and only left a dent, this is why we have so many of these downgrade posts.

In the picture on the left Wild left an dent on 50% Demon King's chest and he dropped to his knees before he even noticed. He also commented on the power Wild possess. And on the right we see him getting knocked back by Wild in Full Throttle Mode. That pretty much shows that he's at least on par with 50% Demon King though it's more likely that he's physically stronger in Full Throttle Mode.

....PIS

The reasons I'm not saying outlier tho is because it's important to the plot and a turning point of this mini arc

The definition of PIS is this:

PIS, short for "Plot-Induced Stupidity" is a term used to refer to events in a story that contradict a character's normal capabilities for the purpose of the plot. For example, if a generally competent, intelligent villain does something stupid like not killing the hero immediately when he has the chance, and that allows the hero to win, that would be an example of PIS (If the villain was just incompetent in general, it would be CIS, or short for "Character-Induced Stupidity" instead).

This does not contradict his normal capabilities, as Wild had amped himself vastly with his own exploded lifeforce, even to the point where it extinguished within a matter of seconds. We've heard that his base form survived thousands of fights with the Demon King, and see him take casual attacks. Also, when has Wild ever shown to have these capabilities? Never, he's only done it this once against the Demon King.

We agreed on it after a scene which showed the characteristics of vaporisation with rising steam.

Which is odd because I don't believe that the demons Darkness powers have demonstrated vaporisation capabilities before (or in any chapter since then).

Well, the Darkness Pillar has only been used thrice, and other times its mostly used to fly, for weapons, defence, or healing. In techniques it is often used as a construct that engulfs a target rather than a vaporization based attack, like Blackout, Killing Saucer, Cocoon of Darkness, and Dark Snow.

I think Dark Nebula might have vaporization to it. I'll check later.

Edit: Nah, it more breaks down matter.

There was images of vaporization shown in the after effect of Danafor's destruction. I don't have them, but I think Raven and Malik know where they're at.

I also want to see the evidence of Vaporization, cause whether it is or isn't decides whether the feat is Low 6-B+ or 6-C, which is really important

I never actually saw the scans. If Darkness attacks more consistently just... delete matter then that would be pulverization. What chapter was the Dandafor feat presented in again? I'll check it myself.

I think it was mostly presented around 124 - 132. I can't remember exactly, but it's somewhere around there. Apparently there's some scenes in an extra chapter.

Alright. Because unless Darkness is consistently shown to vaporize things, We shouldn't jump to true vaporization.

Well, like I said, Malik and possibly Raven knows the scans. I tried to look through Malik's contributions, but I can't find it.

IMO, the best option is not pulverization, it's disintegration. I'll get scans.

The scans above? We clearly see particles/ashes in the air, a clear sign that it's not dust.

If there was heat involved, would there really be perfectly intact trees right on the border of the crater?

Eh, looks more like dust/small rock fragments to me.

Besides, there was no smoke after the blast either. Nor any signs of melted ground or anything.

Wouldn't really make sense for them to be small rocks, maybe in the first scan, but not the others.

Does disintegration even need that? It's extremely common for there to be a non-heat based attack that still turns beings to ashes or disintegrate the landscape, like Dragon Ball, Doctor Who, Star Wars, Marvel, etc.

I'm not saying this to downplay Seven Deadly Sins at all, but for now, to me it looks like Pulverization via Power of Darkness, I don't think it's hellblaze, it looks way more like the Power of Darkness, which IIRC realies on physical damage and Pulverization

@Galaxian

Hmm, those actually look like flames. Not sure if it's enough proof for vape though...

Could you find more evidence(if there is any)?

It looks like an art inconsistency, the first Image is most certainly Power of Darkness, while the image you showed is Hellblaze clearly, so it's really up for grabs

Out of curiosity Versus, what would Meliodas' rating come out to be if pulverization is used?

I think there was a few High 6-C feats though. One was from the Archangels. The other was from Base Chandler but I'm not sure if it was 6-C or High 6-C.

Chandlers feat doesn't work, since the calc that made it High 6-C combined the energy of all meteors he threw down, which is wrong, so back to the ocean calc, which was High 6-C I guess

@Peter

Yeah, Liger's version seems to be the correct one. Unsure if the high end(10 seconds assumption) can be made though... It's a bit too much. Usually 1 minute - 30 seconds is more reliable.

Which would result in 5 - 20 gigatons, which is sadly not a real upgrade :(

Everybody just forgot about that calc even though they said we needed to wait and see which calc fits his power lvl more. Now we know that Base Chandler while still being somewhat weakened from the goddess seal is 60k+.
