I honestly dunno. Was never opposed to the 5x one. I'd be fine with using it.

I opposed the 5x one because the values don't need to be the exact ratio between the statistics. They could have easily been arbitrarily chosen numbers meant to illustrate one statistic being far higher than the other.

Whether the statement came from a reliable source isn't really the matter here, since being knowledgeable about something does not mean you'll exclusively use hard facts and literal values when explaining it.

Same goes for the 10x multiplier, yet it is accepted.

I personally don't mind using the 5x multiplier as well, but the problem is that our system works in terms of force and counter-force. If characters have 5x less durability than striking strength, their bodies would be destroyed with every hit.

I think the 10x multiplier was fine since it was a precise limit for the character's power compared to their full strength, rather than simply being a figure of speech for the character being weaker.

I know it's already been accepted, but I recently found the LN translation for the 10x multiplier quote, so here it is.

If you went about it like you had a mere tenth of the power you manifested over spring break, when you were actually a vampire, you'd still be overestimating your capabilities.
