Superstar Mario

is capable of throwing an unlimited amount of star projectiles that act similarly to Yoshi eggs.

Yoshi Rolling Egg

allows Yoshi to change colors (red, yellow, green, light blue, blue, pink, black, and white). A minor effect of this is that White/Black Yoshi is capable of eating foods that regular colored Yoshi would dislike and also makes himself taste worse if an enemy attempts to eat him as well as grant Yoshi a longer tongue and more powerful explosive eggs. Depending on the color also raises Yoshis standard egg carrying capacity (20-50 eggs) in the white Yoshi case becoming unlimited.

well adding this to the superstar power-up simply grants Mario more versatility while granting him flight and his invincibility. (plus it would be an ability missing.)

as for Yoshi, the color changing ability is something missing currently from his P/A so it should be added, and since White and Black colored Yoshi grants him an extended reach with his tongue more powerful explosive eggs and even a possible ability to avoid being consumed by enemies that eat opponents it would be a good detail. and the egg supply will also give a great advantage since in most cases Yoshi is thought to only carry 6 on his person.

which can be useful for increasing his current egg supply, extend his tongue range when black/white, alter his taste/voice pitch, and increase the explosive power of his eggs.
