He is emtionless in that form and is by default bloodlusted. If he keeps attacking Nagato and he keeps regenerating even from Hellblaze he will resort to soul steal or sealing.
If that's the case why didn't he did that to escanor? he will not soul steal it's not IC for him to do it, being emotionless isn't by default bloodlusted

If you're on about the TO escanor vs Assault mode meliodas, uhhh Escanor resisted it against Melascula, and in doing so did a shit ton of damage to her. Also that's not the point Speedster's trying to make. He said Meliodas will keep attacking, untill its useless and will then soulmanip due to his emo nature.

Assault meliodas didn't do this, because TO would never give him the chance to do this, and because he already resists soul manip. And also because TO was kinda hard bodying him the entire match.

I see no reason why AM Meli would not soul manip if everything else proves ineffective, and the argument of "but Escanor" makes 0 sense. Like why pick the one character whose actively shown to resist soul manip, as proof AM wouldn't use it.

He didn't show it to use in character in any form and never used IC in the entire series

Meliodas uncaring without emotions:

Attacks Nagato
Nothing works and Nagato heals from it
Continues to try and fight
Nothing works

Will the master battler who led the revolt against the Demons, was the leader of the 10 commandments and the 7 deadly sins do:

a) Continue to attack despite it having no effect
b) Use an ability in his arsenal that would make his current issue moot.

Hmmm i wonder what he'll do. Obviously you'll keep clinging onto "muh not in character!!!", but there's no logical reason for him to not use it here. To argue otherwise is asinine.

So you want to make this a One Shot then? Regardless of Nagato's Regen he can't do anything if Meliodas One Shots him with casual attacks
Then he could change this to unsealed Meliodas although he will have no counter to chibaku tensei unless he could use assault mode. Then again Meliodas has sealing as he sealed Gelda and can steal his soul using SBA when all else fails and as a last resort.
