That deleted scene is pretty good, but I definitely prefer how the finished movie handled Jane leaving the hospital to join the final battle. This version doesn't feel nearly as impactful in that regard, with Thor not really reacting. Plus I'm not sure how this version would get to set up a future conflict with Hercules.
