King Hassan VS Ainz Ooal Gown

@FDrybob

How fast can Ainz cast though? Azrael is nigh-instant once its name is called.

In addition, everything Ainz uses is magic, which Hassan resists by virtue of his Magic Resistance. His Battle Continuation means that even if his heart is crushed, Hassan can still continue fighting and using Azrael.

Actually, he might be able to do them with a thought. I don't think he said anything when he cast his time-stop spell to kill Gazef. Sorry, just remembered that, he normally says the spell name.

However, despite what his page says, time stop is not his first move. He only used it against Gazed because he knew that Gazef was intending to die and just trying to get Ainz to reveal his abilities, so he stopped time so no one could see what he did to kill him. Every other fight (at least in the volumes up until the one where he kills Gazef), against unknown opponents he starts with weaker spells to test the opponent out.

I'm talking about grasp heart's secondary ability, which is that it stuns the enemy if it fails to insta-kill them. And Ainz can use any of his spells instantly, he only says their names during casual or expected battles so his allies know what he is casting. Against Gazef, he used timestop instantly because Gazef said that he created a new martial arts ability, and Ainz did not want to risk anything, even against some one almost 70 levels beneath him. Ainz had already used much more powerful super tier spells minutes prior, so from a reader's perspective it didn't seem like he was trying to hide anything to me. Ainz's strength is his versatility, hax, and most importantly his tactics and meticulousness.

Ainz's grasp heart would stun Hassan, and then he could follow up with another immobilizing spell to neutralize him long enough to finish him off with a spell that gets around his magic resistance. Like I said before, thousand bone lance or obsidian sword would work since they summon physical objects. Obsidian sword in particular would be very effective since they don't stop attacking until they are completely destroyed, giving Ainz even more time to get around Hassan's magic resistance.

As a last resort, TGOALID + any death spell would guarantee Ainz's win, and he can use perfect unknowable to escape for the twelve seconds needed. I believe that his sheer versatility gives him this win. By the way, to what extent does King Hassan's spacial resistance work? Would it allow him to resist being bisected by reality slash, or absorbed by a vortex?

Finally, Ainz does not "test out" enemies. Ainz is paranoid. He only used weaker spells on people like Gazef because he already had knowledge about them. In volume 11, he faces off against a baby frost dragon that he expects to be much weaker on him, but he still starts off with grasp heart because he does not absolutely know for sure if that's true. His whole personality revolves around the fact that he never pulls punches against anyone of unknown level. Sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to wank Ainz here, but he is different from most evil overlord types. He isn't arrogant, and does not fight fairly. He would absolutely try to prevent an enemy, especially an unknown one, to gain an advantage against him.

Magic Resistance and Protection of the Faith would nullify that stunning effect easily since they prevent physical and mental interference of any kind.

Hassan has a shield and can lolnope entire Noble Phantasms with his cape. A few pointy rocks isn't going to do much, especially since he's just as skilled with a sword as any of the Knights of the Round.

As you said, Grasp Heart is Ainz's goto attack, so he'll be cut down before he can do anything else.

Obsidian swords are just pointy rocks? I beg to differ. "Creates a large obsidian sword that will lock on to a target and hone in like a missile. It was incredibly difficult to destroy a sword made of magic with a physical attack." Shalltear had major trouble destroying them, and she's Island level, plus her weapon deals crushing damage which makes it more effective against obsidian swords than Hassan's sword would be. No matter how skilled you are, anyone would have trouble fending off three blades, plus a magic caster with just a single sword. It would certainly distract him from cutting down Ainz. If King Hassan dismisses them as "pointy rocks", then if he isn't careful, one of them could chop his head off. If Hassan can still get around that, then I will concede that he wins.

You just said obsidian sword wasn't a magic attack yet now you say it is?

Hassan cuts down the concept of distance and catches up or simply teleports after Ainz. All of Ainz's projectiles will have their concepts cut apart since he ignores durability through his Mystic Eyes of Death Perception-like ability.

hassan wins with pc into azreal and abilty to kill concepts as ainz can kill inanimate objects but has not shown ability to kill concepts

Ainz: 3 (Siegart.chaster, FDryBob, Dura Lex Sed Lex)

Hassan: 3 (Faddizle, Reppuzan, Ramesses the Sun King)

Okay, then Hassan wins. Now that I think about it, him and Ainz's friend Touch Me, who Ainz could never defeat, both negate distance and insta-kill Ainz.

Ainz: 2 (Siegart.chaster, Dura Lex Sed Lex)

Hassan: 4 (Faddizle, Reppuzan, Ramesses the Sun King, FDryBob

If only we know all Ainz abilities plus his world item that he always carry that said one of its ability its good againts Dragon. But yet we never see Hassan as Grand servant prowess either.

And the stage being a forest really support Hassan's PC ability. And again, His PC is not perfect, The moment he try to attack or use Azrael, Hassan will be discovered. And even Rider can sense Hundred-faced when they get nearer or EMIYA from Extra to Li shuwen "Sphere Boundary" which is far superior than Hundred-faced. And they don't even have presence detection or such.

Ainz will have a time to react since speed is equalised and teleport out of way or use flight and use complete invisibity and perfect unknownable to hide his presence from Hassan and prepare to engage again after using barrage of buff spells.

While i agree Hassan's Azrael can just kill him. but that's if hits and he need to close the distance to actually severes Ainz fate, the same as Ainz TGOALID which is even worse than Azrael cuz he need to wait for 12 second before activated while Hassan only invoke his name. But Ainz still have a chance if he manages to Time stop him and then, use Delay magic: Reality slash for example since that one also ignore durability in the same manner as Hassan's Azrael. While Hassan can still live with his battle continuation, But he will be severely weakened.

if we use how character react with environment. Ainz is paranoid, he will always look at his surrounding in case there is danger, especially since he is alone in dark forest without guardians backing him. But since there is no prep time. At least he can still keep his guard up and react when Hassan sneak attack him with his imperfect PC.

@Sieg

As a Grand Servant, Hassan lolstomped Gawai even though the latter had his Numeral of the Saint active, which made him so much more powerful than the Servants Chaldea had that the latter was virtually invincible. The fact that Gawain's Noble Phantasm, Excalibur's sister sword, failed to put a dent in Hassan scared Gawain so much that his power dropped.

Hundred-Faced Hassan intentionally revealed themselves to gauge Rider's strength since Kirei burned all of his Command Seals to make them do it. Big difference.

Hassan can teleport after Ainz or just cut down the concept of distance to drag Ainz towards him.

The Goal of All Life Is Death has a stupidly long casting time and Hassan can just kill it before it activates.

Time Stop will probably end up resisted due to Hassan's Magic Resistance, which nullifies any spell short of High-Thaumaturgy and greatly reduces the effects of any spell that manages to breach it.

@Sieg Just for clarification, Rep means that Hassan would literally kill the very concept of TGoALiD before it activates, nulling it and probably meaning it can't be cast again since its very concept is destroyed.

1.) so? did we use Hassan as Grand servant or just normal servant?

2.) but fact that Hassan has strong curse that made him revealed the moment he begin his attack still there.

3.) TGOALID is not stupid, its just Azrael is superior in term of casting, But TGOALID has wider range than Azrael.

4.) This is troubling, Time stop is 9th tier spell. almost peak level magic in his own verse. And Hassan has B rank magic resistance. really high to counter greater ritual and make most magecraft useless in his own verse. The problem is. Both of them work on different system. Who knows if Hassan can resist Ainz time stop or Ainz penetrate Hassan's MR or atleast affect him a little. Any solid calculation?

@Monarch Laciel

But he can still hide him self with Complete Invisibility and Perfect Unknownable since to cut his concept, he need to see the target. And with Prep time. He will prepare all countermeasure against Hassan, even the most unnecessary one and even "dicern enemy" to know how strong he is.

When he knows Hassan is actually formidable by knowing his rought stats. Ainz will prepare traps, delay teleport, and many more.

But first, can i know if this "Rep" you talk you talked about actually mean Prep time? just for clarification.

And again, there is no prep time so Ainz will still have disavantage by environtment and his Hax

1) As a Grand Servant, which isn't in this fight, but it's still notable.

2) Won't do Ainz much if he can't get away from a teleporting Assassin who can kill him anywhere by cutting down the concept of distance between himself and his target.

3) I'm not calling it stupid, I'm just saying that The Goal Of All Life Is Death takes so long to set up and cast that Hassan just needs to brush it with his sword to destroy it permanently and prevent it from activating or being used ever again.

4) Saber's Magic Resistance may be one rank higher than Hassan's, but it was able to completely nullify Medea's attempts to lock down space around her. In addition, Saber's Magic Resistance was able to allow her to completely shrug off Medea's Rain of Light, which could take a handful of Berserker's lives. Hassan should be able to do something similar, even though it might not be as effective.

5) Hassan doesn't need to see him to use Azazel, he just brings Ainz back by cutting distance and killing him.

"Rep" is also referring to me.

Need a bit more reasons than that Hizack
Ok!

Grand assassin NP it like MEoDP, with mean he easily "kill" every spell of Ainz that need cast time.

And Ainz himself don't have anything that safe him from Azrael too.

So yeah, my vote for Grand assassin.

Two reasons why Saber is capable of such feat:

1. Her armor is made of high quality materials similar to her sword and scabard that it deflects magic giving her magic resistance

2. Her class have natural affinity to resist magic

Hassan not only lacks that kind of armor but his magic resistance is even inferior to Saber class if i am going to scale it's only at about 25% of what Saber can do specially that assasin class isn't blessed for direct battle but rather concealment and assasination

Ainz is always prepare on all sorts of situation as such he always carry a hax item to deal with it even if the enemy have a sudden teleportation ability or similar to it a high ranking item that distorts distance perception and prevents them to do it of any enemy attempting to teleport is in his possesion

True, teleportation on Hassan's part would be rendered null by [Delay Teleportation], which allows Ainz to redirect his teleports, and gives him several seconds to react.

@Zettai

I hate to get mad, but what you just said was a load of bullcrap.

Magic Resistance has nothing to do with armor except in specific cases like Gil games and Siegfried. It is a passive effect inherent to a Servant regardless of class. Saber has it because of her Dragon's blood, not her armor. Yes, the Knight classes have an affinity for it, but Hassan has it as well as listed on his profile. Don't start spewing lies and twisting the truth, especially when I've explained this on several dozen threads and on every ptofile.

Combined with his raw power, Hassan threw off high class Divine Thaumaturgy (Excalibur Galatine) by swinging his cape at it.

@Zettai

In addition, your logic about King Hassan not being suited for direct combat is also complete and utter hogwash. Hassan stalemated Gawain casually, subverted all of Ozymandias' defenses with ease, and is explicitly stated to be a warrior on par with any of the Knights of the Round. These knights include Lancelot, who is so goddamned good with any weapon that literally anything that enters his hands becomes his "preferred weapon" to a point that he can stalemate Saber with a pole and defeated a fully armed knight on par with him in raw strength with a stick.

Hassan is also a master of disguise, as none of the Servants of Chaldea were able to perceive him when he appeared as an old man during the Babylonia saga despite their ability to perceive the energy signatures of other Servants, especially ludicrously powerful ones like him.

So ultimately, you are doing nothing more than lying through your teeth. Read the profiles and threads before you comment.
