IDK some myth stuff: Gilgamesh vs the Hero Twins

Gilgamesh has a ton of good weapons and powers to use. His best weapon probably would be the chains of heaven since they get stronger the more divine an opponent is, and his staff Ea.

The twins would have an edge with their Regenerationn and durability-negating powers like petrification. Gilgameshes gate of babylon might not work for Yobo's reasoning. The gae bulg might not work since it says it only works on natural Regenerationn and the twins probably have Regenerationn from a divine source.

Yobo said it best, "can he kill the two before they pull off durability negating powers?" and I don't know the answer to that question.

To clear something up, no. Gae Bolg, or any Noble Phantasm that does somethint similar doesn't let the person attacked regenerate except the normal way, meaning like a human without powers.

Doesn't Gilgamesh resist petrification anyway? That's a thing basic magi resist so his magic resist should let him resist it even more.

No, it's something he resists because of his armor. His golden armor is actually mainly made to resist the petrifying gazes of snakes from his battle against Humbaba.

Although... Yobo, would any of the things the brothers do be considered magecraft?

Yeah his armor resists it but magic resistance also gives resistance to those effects even as a basic magus so gil's resistance should be higher than theirs even without his armor.

No.

Transmutation exists.

I mean, the Popol Vuh was probably written by Grant Morrison's great great great great great great great^20 grandfather.

You know, because mayans also had a tendency to use drugs before writting.
