Go for the remakes, excluding for the 4th (VII)

I don't own a vita which all the remakes seem to be on. I do own a PS3 tho which the originals seem to be on. Are they worth getting?

The originals are way worse gameplay wise afaik, but if you can get past that they're still good. Can't really say tho as I didn't play them myself.
