Since his movie is officially 1 year old. Let's give him a match against another comic book character from Marvel who hasn't yet entered the big screen Rules:

Fight takes place on a deserted island with a 10 KM lake in the middle

Then he seals him. Or matter manips him. Mindhax is something he does more often than Deathhax since he used it on the Hulk and actively fights off other people's attempts at Mindhaxxing him.

Yeah, Gladiator would be fine. Most of Aquaman's abilties are pretty meh anyways.
