Those you mentioned are basically on the same level of storytelling as Granblue as it currently is.
- What makes the Sky Blue saga is amazing, yeah but the newer event had a better set up, and Visual arts
- Home Sweet Moon delivered what Eternal events failed to do.
- The last Anniv story about Zooey and Cosmos opened up some past without being related to Primarchs and things.
- Fox story concluded after Ninetails was killed but they managed to introduce a new villain that is not forced and yet has a fresh story that improved the dynamics of the Ninetails Fox Clans without having to downgrade Societe and Yuel's character progression (unlike what they do with MC like most of the time).
- Main Story right now since the Carnival chapter had been a rollercoaster and interesting since they basically succeeded in telling The Story while it was being manipulated by the Otherworld and even induces such immersion that the manipulated story looks like what is normal until the manipulation became too extreme and the story delved deep enough that it all fits together as a big puzzle and explained more about how the cosmology works in Sky-realm and what is Evolution truly is in Sky-realm.
- The recent one is Prayers which expanded more on the 4 Disciples, especially Shiva and now FLB shiva is released it lines up just in time for their character progression
- The other recent Theatre Troupe event although wacky really showed how human Primarch can be when they try to become mortals and how they inhibit the same psychological mistakes and issues human experiences when introduced to an unknown environment. Personally, it sent a wonderful message.
- Yuisis Story also concluded with her gaining both Ambition/Passion and Chivalry.
- Arthur story is also picking up finally showing their main Villain Merlin
- True Dragon story also concluded with Deidre where they finally explained the true natures of Dragons and with it finishing they continued it with Old Bonds which are the six Primordials Dragons that make up the World as it is and how they hinted more about their world and the Otherworld and the boundaries
- Even their Collaboration stories have improved especially the final fantasy IX collab that they managed to make some sort of an unofficial sequel that happened outside Final fantasy
- And lastly, they no longer hesitate to dive deep into some horrific stories with Marionette Stars where the character is a literal psycho who fed his victims with her husband's remains
they tried some wacky events like that weird dream about normal school life without magic and such. but TBH the storywriting got way better since Home Sweet Moon that some side story that is more about Slice of life has more life and has an interesting story.
if you think Granblue story is average then you clearly haven't seen their newer events.
tbh I'm kinda getting bored of tragic stories since i used to drown myself in them
Arknights, Girls Frontline, and so on.
Arknight is Loyal to its theme as dystopia and post-apocalyptic (very similar with GFL but i can see why lmao). Granblue works differently. they are flexible with what they can write due to the weird multiverse they just introduced
Also, I still hate Belial i can't believe he still exist in Granblue Versus and i wish i don't see him again. i hate him because he is repulsive but he's also ******* good at what he is doing.
Genshin is still on its fresh start. their world-building hasn't even solidified yet especially with what is the END-GOAL since we already knew she already met the other twin. my only gripe with Genshin is that I cannot go to the next dialogue while they are still talking or performing a motion. I seriously hate that and it waste my time
