I realized I'll probably get nowhere if I decided to update this profile in one go and I really want to.
but since Formatting and Abilities are 2 different things. I'll just make CRT for abilities he is missing + update the profile before fixing his horrendous format.

Let's jump to the biggest issue that is his nature as Singularity



Fate in Granblue Fantasy
Before we add abilities. I would like to explain how Fate exists in Granblue and how it is above certain concepts and what exactly are Singularities.
To start off with Arulumaya's explanation about Divination or fated events. Arulumaya's powers originate from Orologia which is the wedge and law that defines Causality and the one that gave birth to causality and stewards the flow of time and exist omnipresent across all of time.
Arulumaya stated that fated events cannot be prevented or avoided and her visions from her dreams are something that cannot be prevented.
These visions are given by Orologia who stewards the flow of time and cause and effect and also adjusts the Fate of the world.
They are something that is beyond even the future; viewing such Fated tragedy or premonition can consume one's soul.
In this Vision it was shown into her that all the Islands in Sky-realm will fall. such premonition cannot be prevented.
Although Arulumaya can see the vision and the future she was not able to see either the Primarch nor Sandalphon who were the cause of the tragedy.
And such fated event were changed not because of mere efforts but more because of Captain's interference as Singularity which is the center from which the Fate of Astral Realm and Sky-realm revolves around and is intertwined with the fate of the world itself. and this was further confirmed by his interaction with the Great One
This is the first instance of confirmation of how Singularity functions on a different Fate system for being intertwined with the world itself and how he controls the trajectory or the Fate of the world or alters the course of fate by either believing or denying fate.
Another character who has control over fate on a smaller scale like the fate of the village or men is Shiva as he is tasked with breaking apart the unfortunate fate of the village and bestowing upon them new destiny by burning them with apocalyptic fire into nothingness and reincarnating their souls into new beings.
Captain wishes to alter their fate without them needing to die
Which bestowed Shiva the power to alter their fate completely without the need to bestow them with new fate and Destiny by being reborn.
Lastly, Magisa is a witch who has the power to see not just the future but a place that exists not in the past or future. but just like Arulumaya, Captain's Future is a mystery to her; she cannot see a future surrounding Captain. (Although some people argued this is because of the nature of Singularity which blocks off or weakens certain abilities as shown with Lily passive Cold disappearing, Izmir's powers/curse weakening).
The following stories further expanded on his nature.
The Six Dragons and the True Dragons considered Captain as a Singular Pigment capable of muddying the colors that shape the world.
And lastly, Cosmos considered him a threat to balance and at the same time a force that keeps the world from collapsing similar to the Six Dragons who are the wedges which is the pressure that upholds the shape of the Sky-realm

Usually, this would qualify as Fate Manipulation and Fate Manipulation resistance because these fates are controlled by Orologia or Acausality Type 2 as already written in his Profile.
But there is more. Lucifer's Appearance is considered an irregularity that resulted in more irregular events. Lucifer's interaction with Captain is considered an irregularity even to the Cause and effect of the world. Furthermore, Kikuri cannot sever nor influence their fate which lines up with him having an irregular Fate rather than not having a past or future. This is supported by the alternate timeline where the Primarchs were erased from history and it affected Captain as Singularity in that universe not remembering the Primarchs. A similar situation was also present in the Main Story where the Otherworld River rewrote history by removing 2 characters from history itself thus changing the narrative to the Otherworld's desired outcome.
Gachapin and Mukku also were written into the story of Granblue by Akasha but their case is more of that the future where Akasha has written them by accident into the history of Sky-realm was corrected thus by the laws of Cause and effect them being written would have never happened at all anymore in the timeline. Although Akasha managed to create a memento for them. they still no longer exist even in the mind of any characters. But when they were initially added to history. Primal Beast Noa is aware that they do not belong in this reality and it will resolve itself in time. Lastly in Granblue Versus, it is stated that those who hail from other Planes, Beelzebub as Astral from Astral Realm and Belial who is a Primal Beast is unaffected by the reset of the universe and they still retain memories of the old one. So this is a direct contradiction to Captain/Singularity being Acausality Type 2 but proves Primal Beast to be Type 2 due to their nature as higher dimensional or something else entirely

Here lies 2 possible interpretation
Captain has Acausality Type 2 and 4 and Akasha and Otherworld River's ability to rewrite history is more akin to Plot/reality warping and not Causality manipulation when they erase someone from history completely or add them into history. thus even those without a past or future are affected
OR
Captain has Acausality 4 and Primal Beast has Type 2 or 4 for being aware of such. Akasha and Otherworld River's ability to rewrite history also affects the causality of even those with irregular Causality and Fate or someone without past or future
I'm leaning more toward the 2nd interpretation of this one


Immortality Type 8​

The Captain cannot die until he reaches Estalucia. Mithra's Contract makes all contracts be fulfilled that no one can supposedly break even strong primal beast like itself. Even Mithra Himself cannot undo the contract therefore he should get immortality type 8


Causality Manipulation​

As per the latest anniversary event, The Surrogate of Cosmos has completely expunged Captain's soul and existence as The Singularity and as The force that upkeeps the World as scale and erased him from history. But it was later confirmed that he has the power to deny and reject this outcome and the simple act of one erasing his existence causes reality to distort which causes laws, logic, concept, and the system of the sky realm and astral realm as a whole to start functioning irregularly. Denying and rejecting outcomes and judgment causes him to reset causality. the process of causality shaking and resetting also causes environmental destruction that somehow causes unnatural things and warps reality.


Fate Manipulation Changes​

Captain is the force that keeps the world from collapsing and he can choose to believe in pre-existing and pre-determined outcomes or not which allows him to choose any outcome he wants to believe in. Denying the cause resets the causality of the entire world in the process and can cause existence which he denies judgment to fade away from existence by stamping them as a thing of the past unless they can resist it or fight against it.
Furthermore. The World's fate is interconnected to the Singularity. As Shown by Lucifers, and the Great One (Bahamut).

And the concept of Singularity is present on all timelines and can take any kind of form as supported by the alternative timeline Granblue Versus. and that the World spins within the Axis of the Singularity thus everyone's fate is reliant to the world fate and the world's fate is reliant on the existence of the Singularity.

Since Captain already has Fate Manipulation in his Equipment section it will be replaced and moved to his abilities
To prevent bloating, redundant abilities that already exist in his abilities will be removed from the Equipment and Summon ability tab


Fissionism
Capable of separating Primal Beast's Sky Essence/Sky-realm's Core which makes up its Abstract and Concept, and Astral Energy which makes up its Mind, Soul, Fate, and Physical properties allowing the Primal Beast to move to the afterlife and no longer is tied to the Abstract and Concept which keeps them immortal


finally probably the most controversial because it heavily relies on game mechanics but was supported even by Scripted battles that tell the story from a gameplay perspective rather than Text base

Captain's Debuff Resistance​

Debuffs or notably Afflictions are notable and very crucial even to the game and its scripted fights. It is also mostly reflected in some characters' physiology.
And in the In-game Guidebook, they explained that Abilities not landing is not due to weakness but rather because they are resistant to it and it being resisted is due to how they can completely neutralize it. Furthermore, it is also explained in lore that Primal beasts have a self-repair system that nullifies afflictions and manipulation towards them regenerating them to their natural state, and some Primal beasts are also granted Evolution by Cosmos allowing them to grow stronger and evolve thus they get stronger and stronger the more they are afflicted or fought with.
Of course, since there are bosses that aren't Primal beasts or Mythical beings, this resistance will not apply to them similarly to primal beasts due to how they do not have lore to back this up outside game mechanics

I have compiled all the debuffs available in-game and their effects and stories revolving around it
There are characters who have abilities to block out different haxes in the game either by using a veil or by their nature of having total resistance to them because of their powers and such. a lot of characters have baseline resistance to all debuffs in the game but some character either by lore or by their abilities resist them further than the others or is outright immune to them. thus I believe resistance to these should be included for characters who at least possess a mastery ability of Debuff Resistance

Extended Mastery and Over Mastery gives debuff resistance which gives resistance to the majority if not all of afflictions and debuffs such as Fire Manipulation (resist being burned, Soulfire immolation and Megiddo Fleim), Electricity Manipulation (resist electricity that paralyzes), Sleep Manipulation (resist sleep-inducing magic), Statistics Reduction (resist debuffs that reduce statistics), Corrosion Inducement (resist corrosion that also weakens their resistance against afflictions and debuffs), Blind and Accuracy reduction (resist blindness and accuracy reduction that effects even special attacks or mystery), Corruption (Type 1 and 2; can resist corruption that affects physical and spiritual entities and putrefication from enemy attacks which causes bodies to decay and rot or turn them against their allies), Empathic Manipulation (resist charm and allure), Gravity Manipulation (can resist gravity wave that pulls down enemies to a point causing them to act slower with their abilities), Soul Manipulation (can resist their souls being taken out of their body into the afterlife or Lich manipulating their soul), Slow (can resist delay which is an ability that slows down or outright rewind the time for the ability preventing it from being casted or used), Paralysis Inducement (can resist paralysis and shadowed which restrict attacks and movement by overwhelming them with shadow), Ice Manipulation (resist Glaciate that lowers durability and slows down enemies and can spreads, Hypothermia and Coldcage which completely halts enemies by freezing them completely), Fear Manipulation (can resist fear that causes enemies to be unable to focus their abilities to execute them or overwhelm them to the point that they cannot move), Poison Manipulation (resist poison), Resistance reduction (has innate resistance to resistance reduction that makes them susceptible to affliction and debuffs they originally resist), Necromancy (can resist zombification that turns one into the undead), Death Manipulation (can resist lethal hit and instant kill attacks), limited Probability Manipulation (can resist enemies manipulating someones fortune making them unlucky), Petrification (can resist stone which turns the target to stone and become more susceptible to attacks), Power Nullification (Can resist Skill-sealing nullification and Mystery Sealing nullification and Collapse which negates energy accumulated for Mystery), Curse Manipulation (can resist curse that makes them unable to heal or regenerate)

The best I have is The Help Book within the game describing abilities as a blanket term for Status Effects categorize as buffs and debuffs
Most have descriptions describing their effect. There isn't any statement directly mentioning Debuff but rather them having abilities(Veil) that block all of them or increase one resistance from all if it


Primal Beast they have been created to be immutable and this has been said multiple times. Their developing resistance is due to their core regenerating whatever is afflicted to their manifested form to return them to their original state and one would need to have Astral powers to completely modify the algorithm that created them in the first place

for non-primal beast character statements are rare and a statement directly referencing debuff probably doesn't exist. But scripted fights and how they react to certain afflictions like energy drain, Paralysis, or nullifying afflictions which were recapped in the ending.
They also comment about affliction against their enemies. And enemies also comment on abilities not working completely.
for blindness and accuracy and how Percival nullified it. or enemies becoming invulnerable due to their ability to become completely intangible or invisible
paralysis from electricity also referred to as numbness which is in reference to electric shock capable of making a body numb.
there was also a case for Beatrix where in scripted fights she has charge seal debuff since she cannot use Embrasque.

  • I would choose Type 4 for Primal Beast. Remembering events from a change past or paradox is also Acausality Type 1.

I guess it is fine to apply the changes, given the overall agreements.
Sure just need some time. We got hit by a unpredictable storm that somehow travelled our entire country but I'm fine and safe just helping with clean ups
