Godzilla v.s Iron Man (Comic's)

Time stop instantly stops time for a limited amount of time (up to a little over 3 minutes with both time stop items combined). It just stops time.

This is composite Godzilla. This means he has (among other things) Shin Godzilla's paranoia (he nukes literally everything that moves just because he's afraid of getting hurt again even if that makes him deplete most of his energy in the process) and GMK Godzilla and Godzilla Earth's bloodlust (the former nukes random humans with a smile on his face and the latter kills everything that doesn't have his DNA). This means that he will not give his opponent a chance of doing anything while also doing his best to kill him. If SOW doesn't work, life drain will come.

The thing is that this is a composite Godzilla, so, he has a composite personality. Which means that the time stop goes off as soon as possible for reasons stated above. So, one incarnation being a video game character doesn't affect that. It just provides him with its feats and equipment.

Ok. So Iron Man can Power Null, absorb almost everything from Godzilla, paralyze Godzilla, drain his energy, regenerate from almost anything Godzilla can do, and is resistant to sound-based attacks. Voting for Iron Man for those reasons.

Again, time stop > life drain. A giant intelligent bloodthirsty monster so desperate to survive that he will nuke a fly before it can even get close will do everything to prevent the enemy from touching him while also doing his best to kill him.

You dont really know Godzilla isnt it?

He will start with everything! He roars at the end.

Time stopped Iron Man will be killed. So basically your other points losed relevancy. Godzilla absorbs Iron Man while time is stopped or uses The sound based attack that negates durability.

Godzilla has also the probability ring more probabilities of Win and good luck.

Godzilla is eqiped with the hero's shield and a giant mecha kong to protect him.

AT Field can only be nullified by another AT Field, is soul based rather than energy.

It's not "VS battles" definition of bloodlust. It's the more standard definition as in he wants everything deader than dead. Shin Godzilla's paranoia makes him unwilling to take any chances even if he has no reason to go for overkill

The roar is not a problem (it's also less about the sound and more about the utter mess that happens in the affected area, but that's irrelevant due to energy conversion). Time stop and life drain are. Iron Man doesn't have resistance against either one.

Also, AT field can be broken by sufficient brute force. Hell, in the crossover, Ghidorah casually breaks them.

Video game characters don't do anything unless you tell them to. Show me 1 example of Donkey Kong Mario moving on his own once the game starts.

This isn't a problem because other portrayals of Godzilla are more than willing to use everything available to them.

The idea of a composite character is to merge all characteristics. "Characters that combine characteristics from several of their incarnations, effectively combining them into one." This should include personality.

That rarely comes up with composites as they are usually relatively the same in that aspect, but Godzilla has changed many times.

It's not just about wanting to kill. It's also about being so paranoid that he won't give his enemy a chance to hurt him while also being willing to throw literally everything he has at them just to be sure. He blasted a random drone with at least 15 kilotons just because it got close. He later did the same thing to literally everything in the air. He didn't bother checking whether it was anything like the bombers that dropped MOPs at him. It's literally the equivalent of launching the Hiroshima nuke at a fly because you were once hurt by actual bombs (not exaggerating here as that nuke had the same energy output of 15 kilotons).

As for Life Force Absorption, it just...works? Like he just stands there and the life force flows towards him from multiple monsters. They certainly aren't giving it to him on their own and it doesn't occur earlier.

Time stop isn't in character

He has litteraly never used it in character. Show me 1 example of him ever using it in character
Godzilla Kun from Gameboy. He uses it over and over he got it.

Already explained why Godzilla would start with time stop. Even if he fought the weakest character on this site with prior knowledge, he'd still start with time stop and then the strongest attack he has.

Actually many Marvelitas are questioning the fact that Godzilla uses his items in character lol

He will use time stop and then absorb Iron Guy life force OR uses Oxygen Destroyer to negate Iron Guy's durability.

Iron Man cant survive the Oxygen Destroyer.

Vote for Godzilla

Normally, Super Oscillatory Wave (vibration manipulation). If that doesn't work (it should as there would be no time for Iron Man's suit to absorb any of the energy while it gets torn to shreds, but let's assume it doesn't), he'll go for life drain.

You can't see scans of Godzilla using an item that doesn't even have activation animation. It's no different from Link using any of the items not mentioned by the plot.

Well unfortunately Iron Man can null that Life drain.

And how isn't Iron Man gonna absorb that vibration Manipulation? The armor does it itself.

He can't. His Power Null works only against radiation-based powers, which doesn't incude life drain here. I saw that thread and you didn't specify how it worked when asking the question.

Because there's no time for the armor to do it. While time is stopped, the armor's systems are not active. The armor itself obviously still exists and so a regular punch isn't going to dent it. Plus there's oxygen destroyer, which isn't about energy at all.

What do you mean by "doesn't have active animation"? Unless he uses it in cutscenes we have no reason to assume he starts with such a thing. Especially with millions of other powers he could try to use.

False Equivalency, by that logic Godzilla doesn't do anything until you start playing the movie.

The moment Godzilla-kun touches one of the time stop items, time stops. It's a gameboy game after all.

And there is a very good reason to assume he would start with time stop. That is the most reliable way to ensure that he doesn't get hurt. That's Shin Godzilla's number 1 concern. Since this is a composite Godzilla, he gets his paranoia.

That's why I said "once the game starts". Once the movie starts, the characters start doing things. Video game characters won't do anything until you do something aside from some cases like CD Sonic jumping off the stage and causing a game over if you don't do anything for long enough.

So he'd have to touch an item to stop time. Got it.

Which is countered out by all the Godzilla's that don't do that. Composite Link is always treated as bein cautious, analytical, and pragmatic because that's what most versions of Link are, this isn't countered out just by him having one version who isn't like that. Likewise, one paranoid Godzilla doesn't beat out all of the versions who roar and destroy things. You can't outweigh character traits like that.

Fair enough. What you stated is actually kinda the reason we use cutscenes to determine video game characters starting moves as opposed to gameplay.

Godzilla has video game versions. Video games characters don't move unless you tell them too. Godzilla stands there while Tony fries him, gg.
