it would still be the same thing he just can't move at all because all of his acions will be nullified

No. When has ger shown to return to 0 during illusions. At most he'd be trying to rewind three characters inside the illusions but that's entirely under itachi's control, so he'd just end up breaking mentally

If speed is unequalised EVENTUALLY gio will just pump itachi full of life till he dies. Is it in character? No but we know gio will use everything he has to win a battle and with spd unequalised he can test everything in his arsenal at itachi
