Galeem 2-A upgrade

I agree with Saikou, and we seem to be arguing in circles at this rate. Should we close the thread?

Note that I´m not even requesting an upgrade to 2-C let alone 2-A, but just a range upgrade to Low Multiversal (aka, 2-C).

Also again, they were preparing for it, they didn´t just lived there, you know?

The fighters were preparing for it. Not the non-fighters, like those shown after everyone had died. And even then, all the fighters being in the same world is far more consistent than them being in separate universes.

The fact that they're in the same universe literally all the time? The fights, the SSE, the Codecs? The only thing that even acknowledges the existence of individual worlds for each franchise are some details like Melee's stage select sceen or Palutena's guidance against Link.

Literally all the time? Please explain, as the explaiment of "individual" worlds point into that they were dragged in at first or something in those lines.

Aren't they still canonically trophies that came to life? Therefore, isn't it possible that the spirits are just the spirits of trophies that are representive of other versions of the same character? (Basically just a spirit of another trophy that has the same character)

@Bob All the time in the Smash Bros. series. We never actually see the "dragging" part. No reasons to assume that Galeem needed to do so here.

@SD It's a bit weird. The "trophy coming to life thing" has only been truly shown in the 64 intro. While the theme of the "real world" still exists even in Ultimate, it really doesn't seem to be as literal as 64 implied, given how the actual worlds of each fighters still exists and stuff.

Simply put, they "somehow" got there, and didn´t came from the same universe.

The game even bothers to give a series symbol to the characters to separate their verses, except for Yoshi´s, Wario´s and DK´s, which are a part of Mario´s obviously.

We also have the statements in Palutena´s Guidance and what you said to further support it, meanwhile the other assumption about them just being there the whole time lacks actual statements and is pretty much entirely hypothetical.

Also, as for the SSE thing, as we can see in the map, it can be notably seen as just a mismash of a bunch of the involved verses for the most part, as we can see Tabuu recollecting fragments of them with the bombs, which after being defeated, bringed everything back to normal.

- The individual series having symbol means nothing in regards to a multiverse

- Kirby, Mario, and Zelda being next to each other in the beginning of Smash Brawl (Pre-Tabuu messing with stuff) off the bat debunks the alternate worlds thing.

- Palutena's quote in context just means another game.

1: Fine then, I just wanted to point out.

2: How so? They were seemingly just fighting for entertainment purposes.

3: Which could make it a reference of it, linking into simply separate worlds, as the cosmology isn´t compatible.

2. If the were each in seperate alternate worlds, then it would have been impossible for them to be fighting each other without headcanon.

3. Nah, Palutena has the power to return Link's memories, she just can't because its a different game.

2. It's also hypothetical that all of Smash Bros' statements are wrong and everyone is actually 11-C (Example), we don't give ratings based on hypothetical/headcanon cosmology scenarios (Unless it was like, a hypothetical in-canon/plot alluded to transformation or something, ie like Fusion Zamasu. But that's not the case.)

3. And literally a few seconds later, they also point out that the Master Sword can't use its abilities against Ganondorf for the same reason, now calling it another game.

3: The Kid Icarus series is knwon to break the 4th wall often, so by saying game, she likely meant "universe", as then again, Oot and BotW are in very separate parts of the Zelda cosmology. Something similar happened in a Metroid discussion Pit and Viridi had...

...Okay, can we at least just get an "At least Universal+" range in that case? The AP being "At least Low 2-C" makes the range being at least Universal+ more reasonable.

Breaking the 4th wall is not a multiversal level feat. At least from the way I see it, it's an ability that at best only gives the user brief interaction, physically and/or vocally, with something or someone "outside the box".

What? I´m not saying that ability itself here is tier 2 at all, but that the statements are still valid even with it around into that by games they mean pretty much universes.

I agree with Saikou.

We should probably close this thread.
