Yeah, I'm surprised that this has never been brought up before, but Dragon Slayers are immune to the Anima. The Anima is a tool that absorbs someone's magic power and transmutes them into a Lacrima Crystal. For reasons that aren't explicitly stated, Dragon Slayers are completely immune to Anima. Anima cannot absorb a Dragon Slayer's magic and cannot transmutate them into a Lacrima Crystal. It's just said that Dragon Slayer's are special and they have this inherent resistance. As well, Dragon Slayers have the ability to completely reverse and undo the effects of Anima. This means that a Dragon Slayer is capable of undoing transmutation.

Therefore all Dragon Slayers and Dragons should have...
  • Resistance to Absorption and Transmutation (Dragon Slayers are completely resistant to the Anima, which is capable of absorbing all of someone's magic power and transmuting them into a Larcima Crystal)
  • Limited Power Nullification (Dragon Slayers are capable of entirely negating the effects of the Anima, which is capable of absorbing all of someone's magic power and transmuting them into a Larcima Crystal)

I don't think the Resistance to Transmutation applies here. If they don't get their magic absorbed in the first place, then there is nothing to be transmuted so they aren't resisting that part of it.

Their bodies are transmuted into literal magic, so the resistance still applies

Also side note, but Lucy should also receive the resistance to absorption and transmutation with Horologium, who was able to defend her from it
