I watch the demon dog and then let my research diary appear.
"Research diary, I met a dog of demonic nature, he suffers from amnesia and his form forces him to experiment with animal instincts, although he has a good intellectual capacity, for the moment it seems harmless ... but I will try to keep him under control and perhaps try to do something highly unlikely, change his nature as a demon into something less abject and evil"I say, the feather that writes all my words.

"Hm, let's start from the beginning again. I do not know who brought you to the first void, but I do know that they're powerful and that they're the one that messed with your abilities. I don't know how this being accomplished this. You were being sent to this world, but I intercepted you, because I wanted to talk to you all. All of you have abilities and had no idea what's going on. By gathering you in one secure location I wanted to prevent any unnecessary conflicts and chaos. But that wasn't the only reason. You all got into that situation against your will, so I wanted to help. However we were interrupted." she explains.
She then looks at Magnus. "The woman with the flaming gun? I do not know who she is, but she once attacked a prototype of the white room."
"So most of you have already encountered the demons. They appeared about thirteen months ago and-"
There's stuff going on with Kabu and then Grondlir puts Kabu to sleep.
"And they have grown more active recently. What do you already know?"

"Can you people do this outside?" the owner of the restaurant shouts at you.
But the man is already attacking trying to sucker punch Grimm. One of the other men grabs a knife.

Immediately after Daniel closed the window the door of his room is thrown open. Multiple armed men wearing armored vests come inside. There's also multiple vehicles and agents on the ground. Some of them spot Daniel.
"YOU ON THE FIRE ESCAPE, YOU ARE UNDER ARREST! PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR OR WE WILL SHOOT!"

"You can call me Huri, of the Initio. You need not give me your name for you will die soon enough." the boy says while not letting go of Charley at all.
"Run..." Charley manages to squeak.

Just like with WWI most of this world's history is very similar to that of Alex' world. Things started to change however in 1988. People started gaining abilities and new creature's came into existence. In 1989 magic was discovered and conflicts started breaking out in this new world.

"They emerge from their phones, then try and kill people to convert them into Demons as well."

At this point, every instinct was telling Daniel that complying with the police would be a mistake, especially since, as far as he knew, he hadn't done anything to deserve a full SWAT team being dropped on his head. "Yeah, I don't think so," said, before leaping off of the fire escape.
Of course, he regretted this decision immediately, realizing all he was going to do was hurt himself, and the police would apprehend him anyway. Suddenly, as the world seemed to fall around him in slow motion, a voice in his head called to him, and told him to do something that didn't even make sense. However, with limited options, Daniel cried out, "Rocket Jump!"
Daniel suddenly found himself blasting upwards and managed to land on the roof of the adjacent building with a rolling tumble. Looking back, he saw thatthe police on the ground had been blown back by this move, and were completely dazed. Not sure how or why he was able to do this, he decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth and took off.
Of course, he regretted this decision immediately, realizing all he was going to do was hurt himself, and the police would apprehend him anyway.
