Enlighten me, why is Devil May Cry Universe level now?

I haven't played DMC5 yet, but does that game show a feat that confirms the verse being universal level? Because I remember reading an article that debunked this and Kamiya saying so was just trolling. In addition to that, the last time I checked Dante and Vergil's pages (less than a month ago), they were tier 6. Aka, just weeks after the release of DMC5 with info of said game. I'm just confused, since I have hardly seen any universal feat in the whole series.

I am actually quite curious. If there is a 3-A feat that Bayo is being upgraded by, would it be possible for a Dante vs Bayonetta match to actually be fair? Obviously not under current circumstances if it is Low 2-C, but I digress. If she has a 3-A feat, how far beyond baseline is the feat?

This is actually a topic that has been discussed, although I'm not very knowledgeable about the evidence for it myself. I believe some evidence for them being separate space-time continuities has been presented, though again, I'm mostly not involved in the discussion about it.

If there are several explicit statements in Bayonetta about the villains not only intending to, but being capable of merging the 3 universes then I don't see why Bayonetta hasn't been upgraded already. What problems or rebuttals need to be addressed? Like, are there explicit statements that all of the realms are universes?
