Elden Ring General Discussion

Just remembered but if Bayle's fire/flame lightning from the heart you consume would burn your body and soul one day, can that generally apply to his fires?

Here's the list of abilities I've noted for Miquella, Brainwasher of the Sus

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Immortality (Type 1, is cursed to be eternally young and never age), Magic, Holy & Light Manipulation (Is a master of light-based Incantations and uses light spells in battle), Explosion Manipulation (Can generate immense explosions of light), Sealing (Sealed the entrance of the Stone Coffin Fissure), Creation & Additional Limbs (Created two extra arms made of light), Duplication (Can summon clones of Radahn to attack several times in quick succession), Mind Manipulation & Empathic Manipulation (Can charm others to magically compel affection from them, causing them to either follow or even become obssessed with him and can also outright brainwash people. His Bewitching Branch can compel others as well), Memory Manipulation (Altered Ansbach's memories), Healing (Cured Freyja from her Scarlet Rot afflication), Power Bestowal & Statistics Amplification (Amplified Radahn's powers and granted him the ability to use light-based Incantations), Soul Manipulation (Put Radahn's soul within Mohg's body. Split his other aspect St Trina, who embodies his love, off from himself), Plant Manipulation (Grew his Haligtree from his own power. His blood creates Empyrean-Blood Burgeons where it falls), Purification & Power Nullification (His needle can purge the influence of Outer Gods), Multiple Selves (Type 1), Sleep Inducement (St Trina, which embodies Miquella's love, has power over sleep)

Not sure about Soul Manip for getting rid of St Trina nor Plant Manip though.

For the equipment, he would get his needle, Bewitching Branches, the Circlet of Light and his Great Rune (formerly)

In terms of weaknesses, I would put his curse, the fact that he's not a physical fighter, his charm abilities aren't absolute and the fact that he has the mentality of a child so he can be short-sighted and is a control freak after he gets rid of St Trina

Nice. Though her tier should be either "At least 7-A, likely High 4-C, potentially far higher" or "At least 7-A, likely 4-A". The former for the currently listed scaling (post Messmer/Mohg) and the latter if you're downscaling from the final DLC boss.

Also if you're scaling her to 4-A she would also get the new Sub-Rel rating I think.
I think putting her that high is questionable, it is more than possible to take on her and 4 other alies of hers single handedly, I think just giving her the "At least 7-A, likely High 4-C" is sufficent.

oh btw wanted to bring something up, we probably need to calc the divine dancing lion and the divine lion warriors, since they are capable of actually brining on a full on tangible storms (darkened skies and rain, the whole 9 yards) with their abilities which they use in combat and considering that they can generate these storms in less than 2 seconds it could result in some pretty nasty results.

Not really. A build is in what you wear, what weapons you use, what spells. As long as I stick to my intention it's a build
a build is what you build your character to do, usually in under 200 levels ( 150 is the most exepted) being level 470, means you can do pretty much everything, thats not a build at that point.

That's just not true because my last build was scarlet rot. I used Romina's weapon, rot breath, rotten butterrlies, scarlet Aeonia, A second weapon with the poison flower blooms twice, mushroom cap, mushroom arms and legs, deathbed dress. Rot proc Resistance talisman. If I stick to that intention I stick to that build. Could I use something unrelated If I wanted? Yes but I didn't. I'm actually level 713 now and same thing applies

Have to disagree. A build is the playstyle you use for your character, no matter the level. If you reach level 500 and still play as a strength focused knight in full armor with zero spell, then it's a strength build. Level doesn't make your build, it's what kind of playstyle you want

This the high level is just so I don't have to spam larval tears whenever I wanna try something new

Yeah, I agree with the idea. I'm personally not that much interested in getting that high, especially since I don't do PVP but I still intend to go on ng+ to ge ther various endings and spells and stuff I missed

playstyle is not build

you build a build, having all stats all over the place is not a exactly a build

you are missing two thirds of what makes a build, you have the items and spells sure but your actual stats and attirbutes are all over the place, again to have a build you need to.... well build into it, having over 400 levels makes your build less of a build and a jack of all trades

a build is akin to being a specialist.

but enough about builds and all I am more intersted in getting a calc member to actually calculate the power output of the divine dacning lion's storms, since considering how fast that thing makes those show up it could result in some tier 6 stuff

No. A jack of all trades using everything. I can use everything I just don't. And at level 400 everybody hits hard so the stats gained don't even do anything. I'm not missing anything I have what I need.

Them melee users I see who use greatswords, swap into swift slash, and cast spells aren't builds

Tbf, you still need to cover the stats requirement for specific builds since all weapons, incantations, and spells require specific number of stats like strength builds, dex build, and the list goes on.

After all, I still need to meet the stats requirement of Bloodhound Fang as a example here.

Either way, it is valid

This argument about builds is dumb. You're both correct. It just depends how you play, you literally just don't have to use the extra options you have available if you're level 400 and your build still exists, it's exactly the same as it was at 150 if you just...dont use the extra options you have from all your extra stats.

I mean yes but I go all the way with builds to point where I'll nerf myself like having useless talisman for sake of immersion so the statement was a bit annoying

Should miquella receive two keys because of the whole becoming a God thing. And more importantly is radahn considered standard equipment.

Two keys yes but non need for more tabbers (he should only get one for his abilities and maybe one for his resistances)

This. If you still play the same thing even after reaching the highest level, then it's a build

Changed the default selection of the OK / CANCEL prompt that shows up when using the “Spectral Steed Whistle” while the spectral steed is dead. The default selection position is now OK.
Adjusted the placement of NPC summon signs in certain boss fight areas.
Changed the NPC summon signs in certain boss fights to allow the user to summon NPCs simply by pressing the action button once.

Let's ******* goooooo.....

Impenetrable Thorns had a 40% damage debuff and poise break debuff. However, the bleed buildup is only changed when used against guarding opponents and is otherwise the same + it has significantly better tracking.

Eh Swift slash was my only issue. Can't outrun it unless you're already somewhat far, can't punish it, hard to dodge, they can easily recover, high dmg, I've had ppl hit me with it when I stunned them with a weapon

Defeated Bayle today. Took me six tries with Igon (of course I summoned him) and Kristoff. That fight was pure spectacle, particulary the second phase.

After that, I went for Farum Azula for last bosses of the main story. I don't know if that was intended but this was so much easier lol. I only lost twice to Maliketh and once to Godfrey, I even defeated Radagon on my own which I never did before. Elden Beast was a catwalk, especially since now you can summon Torrent.
