Dragon Ball Super Discussion Thread 100

I don't think tier 1 is going to last but whatever. I care about internet popcorn. Also wanna see what Daima will show. I mean a new realm is being explored. That should count for something. Any proof it will be canon?
I wouldn't put my hope on Daima, Toriyama always likes keeping things small. Neutral zone, world of void, Zeno's realm haven't even been properly explored

I do hope we at least get a size of the demon realm

Meh, they'd probably have to give the after life or Kaioshin realm their own Temporal zone above the living world for this to happen

Would be crazy if it happened tho,
Does "time flows differently in the HTC" qualify for a different temporal dimension?
If so its literally possible, but leave that to discuss for later

Otherworld is already 5-D for transcending dimensions though
That's outer #csap

In my opinion, something that's both accurate and applicable should be the standards here. Which IMO, Reiner's executes, if I remember correctly; only God of War fire ass series btw actually got it? I remember Georr saying that was only one of them, but... that's just one out of hundreds of Tier 2 verses here.

It probably doesn't, HTC is too small in size, I think it needs to service a universal sized space at least
It's not stated canonically but there was an official interview with a physicist on how the HTC might work and he states that on a physical level that Goku and co. are likely warped to another planet when entering the door.

"In our solar system, Jupiter has about twice the strength of Earth's gravity and the Sun has about 28 times the strength of Earth's gravity. So it looks like that upon entering the Room of Spirit and Time, you might be warped to a planet with a size and density somewhere between those two."
So if we consider there are many other Rooms of Spirit and Time throughout the universe perhaps there is a possibility that it's actually a universe-scale realm with countless planets and the HTC doors just link to different planets from that realm.

That's just conjecture but it's certainly interesting.

It's certainly an interesting theory and would make a lot of sense as there are at least 3 HTC entrances and 2 of them have different time dilations with all being considered outside the normal universe

Sadly, I think this is far too interesting for Toriyama to bring up,

There is a needless overcomplication of the concept going on. If time were indeed a timey wimey ball, this is what I'd call trying to play with it and getting entangled on its threads like a cat.

Trying to apply direction in a common 3D sense of the word to it is odd. It's all born from an inability to see that the past to forward of a standard timeline model is entirely different from a past to future model of a higher order one. Both are going past to future (in a way) but what going past to future means for each of them are like water and oil.

A dimension of time that holds complete timelines has, by definition, a liberated flow from its constraints. As such a dimension progresses, regardless of proposed direction of its flow, each of the fractions will hold the totality of time from the lower dimension's perspective.

What this means is that even if both are flowing forwards, the standard timeline advances in endless replication of 3D real space. The higher one blossoms in endless replication of 4D space. Even if both are flowing forwards, the directions are entirely different because the concept of past to future from each of the two are fundamentally incompatible.

The actual <<forward>> direction that such a higher timeline is going towards would be more accurately described as a direction of time beyond time's progress from past to the present and then future. This should be really simple for anyone to understand because no matter its orientation, the higher timeline has a different flow (orthogonal, as some painfully insist on these semantics) that even the totality of the lower one can never reach or reproduce.

But the OP of the thread is looking at this like time and higher order time are just a 3D ball with painting rolling forwards and fundamentally the same thing. I'm perplexed.

Amogus?

In conclusion: Each time someone says that it's the same direction, there's an image coming to me like there's a projector inside my head and it's torture.
❝It's the same direction.❞

With the arrow keys on the keyboard I can move the amogus backwards, forwards, up and down. Then 4 different directions. So they are 4D beings, therefore they are Low 2-C

I wake up and see a mess of time this and direction that and all that nonsense and it only proves my point regarding how Tier 1 is hard to get into and even harder to maintain because even those who we consider "knowledgeable" on the subject have different opinions on some level and the standards they set aren't easy to understand but get worse once a verse reaches the standards (Dragon Ball), now it's some misinterpreting nonsense which starts another conversation that bulks up the standards even more with some of the knowledgeable members unable to give use an example of verses that follow the standards. I'll be shocked if Dragon Ball even makes it to Tier 1 let alone sustains it.

This is why I'm just going to give up on Tier 1 entirely for evaluating, standards are constantly shifting, I see why other staff don't bother. But I'm honestly tired of Tier 1 who ha. Is there any news on the latest Dragon Ball series other than the stuff previously announced?

The new anime will have 20 episodes, and it will be delivered all at once, that's what you could interpret in a director's speech.

Well honestly, only two people are stretching this tier 1 nonsense, PoP and the other guy.

Even when DT clarified his points, DB and Ben 10 still qualified,

Well see, I wouldn't hold my breath tho.
little brother, I really don't know how you can handle these changes almost every month, people understand the subject should make it easier for everyone to understand and not to complicate matters any further, I really didn't understand anything that DT mentioned
