Not at all, you’ve accepted that time frame for my calcs before that have spanned a similar amount of pages. To say 6 pages is disingenuous as well considering the last two pages show the feat completed already.

No… there really arent. No implications whatsoever of any large time lapse, rather the feat is portrayed as extremely quick.

I would say that 5 seconds is too fast to assume for the entire planet. The feat appears quick over the course of those pages because we're primarily seeing the victims who are closest to the tree itself get snatched up by the roots there.

IIRC all the dialogue was just noting how it was moving quick and affecting everyone. Don’t remember anything that could be construed as a time jump.
