Yuji MAY lose to Denji and Sukuna may lose to a lot of opponents, including Trafalgar Law.
Oh Nobara Kugisaki may lose to Sasori too.

Meanwhile, how many Chainsaw Man characters are actually on main request for a Death Battle in comparison?

Have a feeling a lot of characters from Weekly Shonen Jump will be dumped into Death Battle after the capeshit trend is dying down.
 
 

Ballot Banter #41 Recap
Clover VS Nemesis (Cloverfield VS The Nemesis Saga)- They don’t know The Nemesis Saga, and Liam and Sam haven’t seen Cloverfield, though John has and loves it. Liam says he’s always down for a kaiju fight. Sam suggests doing a giant kaiju battle royale that “takes place in cities all over the globe and slowly starts coming together”.

Katara VS Juvia (Avatar: The Last Airbender VS Fairy Tail)- They aren’t super knowledgeable about Juvia outside of knowing she has water powers, but they’re pretty sure she stomps.

Luigi VS Pac-Man- After recalling the wild stuff Pac-Man has that was brought up on the Cast debate, Sam says the MU’s more interesting than people give it credit for.

Juggernaut VS Overlord (Marvel VS Transformers)- Liam thinks it’s cool. He doesn’t know what Overlord’s shtick is (he assumes it’s that he’s extremely powerful and difficult to kill like the Juggernaut), but he’s heard people claim that Overlord wins, which surprises John.

Wolf VS William Adams (Sekiro VS Nioh)- John says this is now favored in the community over Wolf VS Scorpion due to “the whole ‘Scorpion now being multiversal’ thing”. Liam says he’s seen pushback to that, and John agrees that Scorpion shouldn’t be multiversal just because he beat Kronika in one timeline. Despite this, Liam and John both like Wolf VS William and think it’s a good alt. Sam thinks it makes sense, and likes the first Nioh game, which sparks some discussion about the games.

Eds VS Warners (Ed, Edd, n Eddy VS Animaniacs)- Liam and John both like it a lot. Everyone thinks the Warners slaughter, with John saying the Eds get overhyped because of the one episode where they warp reality, which was just a dream and not standard. Sam gets the MU conceptually, but asks “do these characters need to be violent in this way?”

Shaun Riley VS Paul Matthews (Shaun of the Dead VS The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals)- Liam was a Team Starkid fan “back during his theater kid days” (though evidently, he hasn’t kept up with them, since he doesn’t recognize the name “Hatchetfield”). He remembers TGWDLM being funny, and loves Shaun of the Dead as well.

Garou VS Godspeed (One-Punch Man VS DC)- “Poor Garou”. John knows next to nothing about Godspeed, but is aware that he’s a DC speedster, “and that means he wins”. Sam recalls that Godspeed is “part of the Speed Force” in a similar manner to Wally West, and says if he has even a fraction of the Speed Force, he wins. John notes that we’ve already seen what happens when Garou fights somebody faster than him (“it doesn’t go well”).

Kevin Levin VS Gajeel Redfox (Ben 10 VS Fairy Tail)- Sam thinks Ben 10 and Fairy Tail is an interesting pairing of franchises. John initially says Gajeel wins. He then wonders if Kevin gets his mutated form where he has the combined powers of all of Ben’s aliens, and says it’d be more debatable if he does. Liam and Sam both think it’s an interesting debate, and Sam likes that it’s a “niche and unique” pic.

SpaceGodzilla VS Ultraman Belial- It’s probably cool, but they don’t know the characters enough to have too strong of an opinion.

Getter Robo VS Masinger Z- Liam calls it a classic. Sam isn’t personally into the mecha genre, and thinks fictional robots have less appeal now that real robots are more common (Liam and John are both disappointed by this take).

Lord English VS Mr. Mxyzptlk (Homestuck VS DC)- John says Homestuck is the only franchise he knows that can compete with the Marvel and DC cosmology. Sam thinks it’d be cool to analyze characters who can alter their own narrative, but also that it’s too much “stupid, incomprehensible garbage” for him to care. John wants Homestuck to appear in DB, but also believes it’s unlikely, largely because its status as a webcomic leaves them with little video footage to use. Sam elaborates that they’d have to use a lot of fanart to fill in the gaps, which would require them to ask permission from the original artists, and that would be so time-consuming that a Homestuck episode would become one of the most expensive episodes of the series, which Sam doesn’t think is worth it.

Kurama VS Hashirama (Yu Yu Hakusho VS Naruto)- After a lengthy discussion about the live-action Yu Yu Hakusho series, Liam says he likes the MU a lot, and loves both characters. He isn’t sure who wins, and John says it ultimately depends on where you scale them. Sam jokingly suggests turning it into a three-way by adding Poison Ivy.

Super Friends VS Super Hero Squad- Sam argues that Wonder Woman solos the entire Super Hero Squad, but the others point out that his arguments are based on stuff from the comics that SF Diana doesn’t have. Sam then says that, if we’re just judging based on the cartoon versions of the characters, then the SHS probably wins via Silver Surfer alone. Liam brings up the billions of times FTL feat mentioned in Spongebob VS Aquaman, and that SF Superman is still ridiculously powerful. John later looks up one of SHS Silver Surfer’s insane feats (absorbing the Infinity Sword and Infinity Gauntlet’s powers and wiping out 1/3 of the universe).

Luffy VS Natsu (One Piece VS Fairy Tail)- Sam wants to wait until One Piece ends to use Luffy, but John and Liam say they can’t realistically do that because of the recent announcement of the anime remake, and since we still don’t know when the manga will end. Sam assumes that Luffy wins, and John says that Luffy might stomp if you take into account how big One Piece’s planet is.

Luffy VS Captain Marvelous (One Piece VS Super Sentai)- Sam doesn’t know Captain Marvelous, but understands the idea. He says he’d rather make a fanfiction where Luffy and Marvelous team up to find their respective treasures instead of a Death Battle.

First matchup for the next Ballot Banter is Mega Man Battle Royale 2 (Ruby-Spears Mega Man VS Rockman Ability VS Bad Boxart Mega Man VS Fully Charged Mega Man VS Captain N Mega Man).
 
@Joycap Out of curiosity, how strong KOS-MOS is in terms of the feats she's performed and the scaling she's a part of? I've heard that Xenogears has some Outerversal stuff in it or something like that, but I know next to nothing about the whole Xeno franchise as a whole so I don't know how she scales when compared to Megman.EXE

Right, so people will just wank her straight to 1-A/1-Bish because Zarathustra exists, but let's take this a bit at a time instead of rushing to the conclusion:

Saga 1 (and to a lesser extent Saga 2) has some Solar System level stuff, what with Shion mentioning that Miyuki's division was in possession of star-busting stuff, and even greater (a cartridge that KOS-MOS does end up using, for the record). People will also try to bring up KOS-MOS using TWS to fight U-DO in a flashback, but it's unlikely this was a full Universe, moreso a portion of a Solar System or Galaxy (the scope isn't all that clear, is what I'm saying). Albedo was casually toying with the party inside the Song of Nephilim, and him... we'll come back to him.

Saga 2 has similar, with Margulis going on record that the E.S Isschar that Pellegri casually pilots has the might of 'an entire star system' (whether this means SS or Galaxy level isn't quite as clear as it should be). However, a 2nd R&D Division member also went on record to state that '120 Star Systems had already been wiped out by the Gnosis', so we can assume a highball here.

And that's just casual stuff. Albedo at the end of the game ends up a part of U-DO, and states that he could 'shove this entire dimension into a high order domain' (lowballed, this is around 2-B, but could be as high as 1-C/1-B at a vague guess). There's very little I can say about Saga III at that point beyond Yuriev claiming he could 'transcend U-DO', because A) I don't want to dignify it one second longer than I have to, and B) this thread exists. Take it for what you will. (Oh, and also I have mock profiles)
