I guess the saying "There is no such thing as bad publicity" really rings true with this controversial asf MU. If DB's mission was to ring up interest and awareness of Goku vs Superman 3 then mission accomplished I'd say. It does suck donkey dick that Goku and Superman weren't giving other MUs, but I still think that a combination of executive meddling and a preexisting desire to do GvS3 is to blame for this Frankenstein abomination of a retread

Don't get me wrong I don't really do Bleach scaling (I'm a casual fan myself) but thanks to the TYBW anime adding major context to feats and lore, the Bleach DB episodes haven't aged well at all. Bleach truly needs to be done justice on DB in the future but until TYBW concludes I don't think it's a good time to bring back any Bleach rep.

Went on Twitter, most Dragon Ball and DC fans agree Superman wins but they are both just like “but why though”, the controversy is less of anger/rage and more genuine bafflement. I really wish GvS2 never existed. If there’s one episode that adds negative value to the show and isn’t a product of its time like most of Season 1, it would be that.
