I still do not understand how a Light death battle is supposed to even work. That's not something you can even really animate.
They do realize airing a Halloween episode in November make it's no longer a Halloween episode, it's just a horror themed episode in November.

Making Light work in a Death Battle format would be highly difficult as it'd have to be so unconventional, I'm not even sure if old gen DB's format could've done it.

DB kinda blew their load with comic Superman in GvS2, he's not coming back.
When you say a character has no limits and can beat anyone, it's kinda hard to walk it back. It makes you look foolish and solidifies GvS2 as bad faith arguments and wank.
Sad cause I wanted Superman vs Optimus, or Superman vs Thor.

Not only that, but we all know DB has at least improved in their analysis, and with how they treat DC heralds and DBA characters, Superman Vs Goku isn't too far off by modern DB standards.
And you know what's funniest of it all? Is that because of the events of Death Metal, all the main incarnations of Supes from Pre Crisis to Modern is canon. So by modern DC standards, DB compositing Superman is actually justified

Both are self-absorbed pricks with a propensity to trash talk. Johnny has his signature nut punch while Christian has no qualms using low blows. But while Johnny redeems himself and becomes a hero, Christian is notably becoming more of a ******** every passing day. Going from laughing at his opponents for having dead fathers and hitting on their moms to wishing death on their entire family. Both have troubled married life but while Christian believes himself to be an ideal father but is actually terrible, Johnny is an excellent father and the more responsible parent between him and Sonya.
