his comics are generally very philosophical and poetic, with beautifully written dialogue about the universe and stuff, it's very much kind of like if Dr. Manhattan wasn't a disconnected asshole. Alongside this, Silver Surfer is at his heart a tragic character, having basically sold his freedom and humanity to protect his planet only to lose it anyway, all the while trying to find his own meaning in the cosmic balance of the universe.
You have any scans that makes SS great?

He's very much a character that you read for the philosophical and poetic side of things, it's part of why he is Stan Lee's favourite character, cause he loves waxing poetry, similar to how he writes Doom, but without the ego, that really show off his humanity and spirit

it also just features some absolutely wildly awesome abstract stuff that, like if you want to see cosmicism done right, read silver surfer

genuinely almost every silver surfer story is like this, but some GREAT ones to try is any of the OG Stan Lee SS stories, Silver Surfer Black by Donny Cates, Silver Surfer by Dan Slott, you can also watch the Silver Surfer 90s cartoon which genuinely captures the same aesthetics and was WAY ahead of it's time
